摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for selecting a fixed frame period operation for uplink transmission. One apparatus includes a processor and a receiver that receives a first configuration from a RAN node for a first FFP duration and receives a second configuration from the RAN node for a second FFP duration, where the first FFP duration is different than the second FFP duration. The processor selects a FFP duration for an UL transmission to be transmitted based on an entity acquiring a channel occupancy and controls a transmitter to transmit the UL transmission in the channel occupancy with the selected FFP duration, where the selected FFP duration is either the first FFP duration or the second FFP duration.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for efficient RACH behavior. One apparatus includes a transmitter that transmits a first PRACH preamble to a base unit to start a RACH procedure; a receiver that receives a RAR (Msg2) from the base unit during a random access response window; and a processor that controls the transmitter to transmit a second PRACH preamble in response to being unable to transmit a RACH Msg3 within an indicated transmission opportunity. The processor may obtain multiple transmission opportunities for transmitting a RACH message such as RACH Msg1 or RACH Msg3 or monitor for multiple RACH Msg2 where transmission opportunity data are conveyed via a RACH Order, an RAR, or DCI for the RACH message. A method or system may perform functions of the apparatus.

摘要: In order that devices with reduced capabilities be explicitly identifiable by networks, to flexibly allow and/or restrict their access to the networks, a user equipment (UE) first determines (1102) at least one set of user equipment capabilities. The UE may determine whether an access attempt is authorized based on barring information broadcast by the network to be accessed (specifying e.g. whether a reduced capability UE is allowed to access a cell). The UE then transmits (1104) an access request message to a network device. The access request message includes information corresponding to the at least one set of user equipment capabilities.

The method includes receiving a first set of downlink reference signals and a second set of downlink reference signals. The method includes, selecting a first downlink reference signal and determining whether to perform a random access procedure.

One apparatus in a mobile communication network includes a processor and a transceiver that receives signaling information from a RAN node to schedule a first set of PDSCH resources and a first set of corresponding PUSCH resources, where the information to schedule the first set of PDSCH resources and the first set of PUSCH resources is transmitted in a same slot. The processor determines feedback information for a PDSCH transmission received from the RAN node using the first set of PDSCH resources and controls the transceiver to send feedback information for the PDSCH transmission to the RAN node using the first set of PUSCH resources.

One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that transmits at least one paging occasion (“PO”) configuration in a system information block (“SIB”), where the SIB includes a first quantity of PO configurations. The processor determines a paging frame (“PF”) and a PO identity within the PF and selects a PO configuration, where an amount of POs per PF corresponds to the first quantity of PO configurations included in the SIB and where the selected PO configuration is associated with the determined PO identity. The transceiver transmits a PDCCH carrying paging DCI on a particular paging symbol within a particular paging slot of the determined PF, where the particular paging slot and the particular paging symbol are determined based on the selected PO configuration.

摘要: An indication to schedule a first uplink channel can be transmitted, where the first uplink channel can correspond to a first transmission occasion and a first priority. An indication to schedule a second uplink channel can be transmitted, where the second uplink channel can correspond to a second transmission occasion and a second priority, where the first transmission occasion can overlap in time with the second transmission occasion and the first priority can be higher than the second priority. A particular symbol of the second uplink channel from which a transmission of the second uplink channel is cancelled by a user equipment can be determined based on the first transmission occasion overlapping in time with the second transmission occasion. A reception of the second uplink channel can be cancelled based on the determined particular symbol.
