    摘要: An airbag includes two base cloths sewn together at their outer peripheries by a seam extending from a central portion to the outer periphery of the base cloths into a vortical shape. When gas is supplied from an inflator to a center aperture of one of the base cloth to inflate the airbag, load generated by gas pressure breaks the seam sequentially from the central portion to the outer periphery, preventing sudden deployment of the airbag in fore and aft directions at the initial stage of deployment, thereby enabling not only soft restraining of passengers but also sufficient restraining by deploying the airbag into a final shape that is flat in fore and aft directions upon completion of breaking of the seam.

    摘要: In an occupant weight detection system, a pair of weight detection units are mounted along upper faces of base members fixed to a floor of an automobile. A square-frame-shaped linking member made of an iron sheet is interposed between the pair of weight detection units and a pair of seat rails. The pair of weight detection units are integrally linked by the linking member to maintain a positional relationship to each other at a predetermined relationship. Therefore, it is possible to prevent these weight detection means from being mounted in a state in which they are twisted or displaced relative to each other, thereby maintaining the detection accuracy.

    摘要: The liquid crystal display device includes a MLA operating circuit which reads from gradation data of [b2, b1, b0] stored in frame memories b2 in a period of the first frame, and b1 and b0 in periods T1 and T0 of the second frame to produce a column data signal 104 ([c2, c1, c0]), and a timing control circuit which controls a latch signal to column drivers so that the time ratio of the first frame to the second frame is 4:3 and the time ration of divided selection periods in the second frame is 2:1. With this, the number of change points of voltage level applicable in selection periods can be reduced whereby occurrence of a waveform distortion is minimized and a possibility of an uneven display in the liquid crystal display device is reduced.
