摘要: A method for processing packets includes performing by a plurality of processors integrated in a single NIC chip, the plurality of processors including at least a hardware processor and a firmware processor, receiving information identifying at least one packet to be processed. The method may include determining whether the identified packet is a large send offload packet. If the identified packet is a large send offload packet, the method may include selecting between at least the hardware processor and the firmware processor to process the large send offload packet. If the identified packet is not a large send offload packet, the method may include bypassing the hardware process and the firmware process, and read DMA processing the identified packet from a host memory.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes an active region in a semiconductor substrate; a first field effect transistor (FET) disposed in the active region; and an isolation structure disposed in the active region. The FET includes a first gate; a first source formed in the active region and disposed on a first region adjacent the first gate from a first side; and a first drain formed in the active region and disposed on a second region adjacent the first gate from a second side. The isolation structure includes an isolation gate disposed adjacent the first drain; and an isolation source formed in the active region and disposed adjacent the isolation gate such that the isolation source and the first drain are on different sides of the isolation gate.

摘要: A method for offering a user reward based on a chosen navigation route includes calculating alternative routes from a starting location to a destination location by taking into consideration route segments including public transportation route segments and road network route segments. The alternative routes are presented to a user. A reward is offered for choosing a respective one of the routes. A navigation system that performs the route calculation preferably queries a network database for public transportation information.

摘要: A method for determining a tilt angle of a vehicle includes measuring accelerations of a vehicle in directions along a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis, and a vertical axis of the vehicle. A current tilt angle of the vehicle is calculated as a function of the measured accelerations. A magnitude-compensated tilt angle is calculated as a function of the current tilt angle, of a preceding tilt angle, and of the magnitude of the vector sum of the measured accelerations. A gyroscopically stabilized magnitude-compensated tilt angle is calculated as a function of the current tilt angle, of a preceding tilt angle, of the magnitude of the vector sum of the measured accelerations, and of a change in the tilt angle over a given time period calculated from angular rate data provided by a gyroscope.

摘要: Certain embodiments of an extreme power down mode for extreme power savings when no network presence is detected may comprise disabling at least one device driver for at least one hardware device in a network adapter chip. The device driver may be disabled prior to disabling the hardware device upon starting a power reduction mode for the network adapter chip. The device driver for the hardware device on the network adapter chip may be enabled after enabling the hardware device upon ending a power reduction mode for the network adapter chip. The hardware device may be disabled by reducing power to it. Similarly, power may be provided to the hardware device to enable it. The network adapter chip may be reset to enable the hardware device upon providing power to the hardware device so that the hardware device may be at a known state.
