    摘要: The dielectric device includes a substrate, a lower electrode, a dielectric layer, and an upper electrode. The lower electrode is bonded onto the substrate. The dielectric layer is bonded onto the lower electrode. The dielectric layer is obtained through thermal treatment of a film layer formed by spraying of a powdery dielectric material and a fine-particulate metal. In the thus-formed film layer, the metal is dispersed in the matrix of the dielectric material. Thermal treatment of the film layer causes migration of the metal in the film layer. This metal migration causes a lower-electrode-adjacent portion and upper-surface-adjacent portion of the dielectric layer to have different metal contents.

    摘要: An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus and a user interface device. The image forming apparatus forms an image on a recording material. The user interface device is connected to the image forming apparatus. The user interface device accepts a user's input, outputs the input to the image forming apparatus and displays information based on data input from the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus sends a notification to the user interface device before the image forming apparatus executes a process of changing one operation mode to another operation mode. The process of changing includes disconnecting communication between the image forming apparatus and the user interface device. The user interface device displays information corresponding to the notification received from the image forming apparatus.

    摘要: This invention relates to a composition characterized by containing, as essential components, deacetylated chitin and/or a deacetylated chitin derivative, and glyoxylic acid; a solution-containing gel formed from the composition; a water-insoluble chitosan coating; and a material obtained by treating a base material with the composition. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a chitosan composition, which in a “one-pack” form, has a pot life. Even when dried at room temperature after coating or impregnation of a base material, the chitosan coating can be water-insolubilized with reduced yellowing.

    摘要: A ceramic sheet is self-supported and planar and has a thickness of 10 μm or less, wherein a surface of the sheet includes a specific crystal plane, and the number of crystal grains present in the thickness direction of the sheet at any one point is substantially one. Preferably, the aspect ratio of the crystal grains is 3 or more, and the degree of orientation measured by the Lotgering method is 30% or more. The crystal grains may be composed of an oxide represented by general formula ABO3, wherein the A site contains at least one element selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, K, Bi, and Ag, and the B site contains at least one element selected from the group consisting of Nb, Ta, and Ti. The crystal grains may be composed of an oxide having a perovskite structure and an isotropic shape.
