摘要: A display device for displaying the time of a bulb photographing operation is arranged so that a counter for counting the clock pulses starts to operate when the bulb photographing mode is set in the camera and the release operation of the camera is started. A decoder incorporated in the camera decodes the content of the counter and a display instrument displays the output of the decoder in such a manner that the photographer can visually recognize the bulb photographing operation time. Several embodiments of the circuitry for controlling the nature of the display, including timing charts therefor, are set forth.

摘要: A printed circuit assembly in a device such as a camera, for example, which is constructed in an extremely compact size and in which various mechanical parts are compacted in a hausing and various electrical parts are arranged in the distributed manner within very limited spaces between the mechanical parts and the hausing. In this printed circuit assembly, in order to electrically connect each of the above described electrical parts to the electric circuit portion forming the main portion of the device, flexible printed circuit boards which are so located within the spaces that they are variously bent in conformance with the configuration each of the spaces are each formed as a single continuous base board in such a manner that it has a third plate portion for connecting purpose connected to a first and second main plate portions of the base board extending therefrom at an obtuse angle to each other with the third plate portion located between the first and second main plate portions so as to deviate from the directions in which the latters extend in the manner that, for example, the third plate member is made substantially in the form of a general U-shape, a general semi-circular shape, or a general trapezoidal shape, so that the yield of the material in the pressing operation in the manufacture of the printed circuit boards is raised.

摘要: This invention relates to a system for automatic focus adjustment of an optical system particularly adapted for use in a photographic camera which utilizes non-linear resistance versus illumination response characteristics which are prominent in photoconductive cells such as cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenide cells. In one embodiment, a pair of photoconductive cells, one of which has a photoconductive surface having elongated side portions which contact the electrodes along the length of the elongated side portions and another cell which has an elongated photoconductive surface and shortened end portions and which contact the electrodes only at the shortened end portions, are arranged so that portions of an image-forming light beam entering through an objective of the camera are directed to the photoconductive surfaces on which similar real images of an object are formed. The objective includes at least one lens member movable for focusing associated with an automatic focus control mechanism operative in response to variation of an electrical output signal of the photoconductive cell assembly produced when the degree of sharpness of the image on each of the photoconductive surfaces is varied as the focussing member is moved for focussing purposes with respect to the photoconductive cell assembly.

摘要: An image forming apparatus connectable to a first feed tray and a second feed tray includes an image forming unit, a feed path, and a detecting unit provided on the feed path to sense recording medium jam. An identifying unit identifies a feed path and a feed tray where recording medium jam has occurred as a jammed path and a jamming feed tray. A first determining unit determines whether the image forming apparatus is connected to the second feed tray. A second determining unit determines whether the second feed tray can feed a recording medium to the image forming unit. A feeding unit feeds a recording medium from the second feed tray to the image forming unit.

摘要: A continuous band-shaped film is guided to a predetermined transport path by a guide roller while separating a protective film, and a single polarizer is supplied to a space between the guide roller and a liftable joining roller disposed above the guide roller so as to face the guide roller while separating a separator. In a state where the joining roller is lifted to create the space between the rollers, the polarizer is supplied to the space between the rollers. When the tip end of the polarizer reaches a predetermined position in the created space between the upper and lower rollers, the joining roller is lowered and the polarizer supplied synchronously with transportation of the film is pressed against the film and joined.

摘要: A rotary atomizing electrostatic coating apparatus includes air feed passages connected to an air bearing, a turbine, and a shaping air cap, respectively. In any one of air feed passages, a divergence portion for causing a portion of air flowing in the one air feed passage to diverge from the one air feed passage is formed so that a diverging air flows into an interior of the drive shaft. As a result, it is not necessary to provide an additional, air feed passage and an air source therefor for preventing paint from entering a bearing clearance between the drive shaft and the air motor. As a result, a size of the apparatus will not be large and a cost of the apparatus will not substantially increase.
