摘要： An apparatus and method for information processing in a network system providing shared folders across a plurality of information processing apparatuses (personal computers) via network. A shared folder management table contains the IP addresses, identifiers of the personal computers, the names of shared folders, and the number of times or attempts to transmit data, etc. Searching of the shared folders is performed at given intervals of time and a search result is compared with the last search result. Based on the search result, a new management data founded is registered in the management table. If a destination personal computer remains inaccessible longer than predetermined time, management data of such personal computers are deleted from the management table.

摘要： In a system, first and second image processing apparatuses are connected to each other via a network, and each of the first and second image processing apparatuses having a storage device for storing a job or jobs, each of which includes image data and attribute information including its output format. A first job in the jobs stored in a storage device in the first image processing apparatus is duplicated as a second job stored in a storage device in the second image processing apparatus. The attribute information of the first job is changed, and the attribute information of the second job is changed to the same as that of the first job. Thus, the attribute information is shared in the system.

摘要： There is provided an image reading method and an image reading system enabling various settings with easy operation and capable of acquiring image data obtained through scanning in a state where the client's security is fully secured. An image reading apparatus and an information processing apparatus connected with the image reading apparatus over a network are provided, and a shared storage area readable/writable by the image reading apparatus and the information processing apparatus is provided in the image reading apparatus or in an electric computer or in another apparatus connected with the network. The information processing apparatus creates an image link object associated with information relating to scanning and transmits scan preparation information including information relating to the scanning to the image reading apparatus. The image reading apparatus executes scanning based on the scan preparation information received, and saves an image data file obtained through scanning on the shared storage area.

The photocathode can be use for both reflection and transmission electron tubes and can yield a quantum efficiency higher than that in a monocrystal diamond thin film.

摘要： The present invention relates to an electron tube having a configuration which can maintain its operating stability for a long period of time. The electron tube comprises, at least, a field emitter which is made of diamond or a material mainly composed of diamond and has a surface terminated with hydrogen, and a sealed envelope for accommodating the diamond field emitter. Due to the hydrogen termination, the electron affinity of the diamond field emitter is set to a negative state. Also, hydrogen is enclosed within the sealed envelope. Due to this configuration, the hydrogen-terminated state of the diamond field emitter surface is stabilized, and the electron affinity of the diamond emitter is restrained from changing for a long period of time.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a door weather strip in which the corner portions thereof are integrally formed with straight portions thereof. In order to obtain a predetermined sealing interference, the cross sectional shape of the corner portions of hollow sealing portion and the lip seal of the weather strip is arranged to be longer than that in the straight portion. Alternatively, the sealing portion is raised as to have a predetermined shape when the corners are formed. Said formed shapes are solidified by vulcanization after the weather strip has been plastic deformed before the vulcanization.
