摘要: In a composite concentration system of the type utilizing a time division system in which voice signals are digitized and then concentrated in a traffic, there are provided a first subscriber line interface means of a first type which connects subscriber lines directly to subscriber line interface circuits, a second subscriber line interface means of a second type which connects subscriber lines to subscriber line interface circuits via a space division concentration switch and a time division concentration switch connected to the first and second subscriber line interface means via switching interfaces. The number of output terminals of the first subscriber line interface means is equal to that of the output terminals of the second subscriber line interface means when a concentration ratio of the space division concentration switch to the second subscriber line interface means is 1:1 and corresponding output terminals are constructed such that the same channel is assigned to the time division concentration switch. The composite concentration system of this invention is inexpensive and can readily expand a telephone system according to a variation in percentage of calls or change in a service performance.

摘要: A projected route between a first location and a second location is determined. A plurality of milestones is identified along the projected route. Milestone-to-milestone navigation information is presented to a user. The plurality of milestones includes at least one of a cross street and a border. The milestone-to-milestone navigation information includes the plurality of milestones.

摘要: A drive mode selection system for a vehicle is provided that includes a drive mode selector that can facilitate selection of a current drive mode from among a plurality of drive modes of the vehicle based at least in part on input from a driver of the vehicle. Each of the plurality of drive modes can be associated with a distinct visual indicator. Additionally, the system can include a mode indication component that can display the current drive mode of the plurality of drive modes by providing the distinct visual indicator associated with the current drive mode. The system can further include a mode recommendation component that can recommend a drive mode of the plurality of drive modes based at least in part on the current drive mode and data received from one or more sensors.

摘要: A display device includes a first projector, a second projector, a first half mirror, a second half mirror and a reflection unit. The first projector is positioned with respect to the first half mirror such that the first rays are transmitted through the first half mirror in a given direction. The second projector is positioned with respect to the first half mirror such that the second rays are reflected by the first half mirror in the given direction. The reflection unit reflects the first rays and the second rays from the first half mirror to the second half mirror. The second half mirror reflects the first rays and the second rays from the reflection unit along the line of sight. The reflection unit further includes a reflector-projector that reflects the first rays and the second rays toward the second half mirror and projects third rays toward the second half mirror.

摘要: A display device generates a combined display that is viewable by the driver of a vehicle. The combined display may be composed of a plurality of displays, wherein one or more overlaying displays appear partially or completely in front of a first display, each overlaying display having an opaque portion that conveys information and a substantially transparent portion through which the first display is viewable. One or more monitors may generate the first display and overlaying displays. A monitor may be divided into multiple screens to generate a plurality of the displays. A screen that generates the first display may be directly viewable by the driver, while the screens the generate the overlaying displays may be outside the driver's line of sight. The display device may include one or more reflecting surfaces and one or more refracting surfaces for directing the overlaying displays into the driver's line of sight.

摘要: If there is a service provider for which basic registration has already been performed, the processing proceeds to step S15 to determine whether there is an IP broadcast service or not. If no IP broadcast service is provided, the processing proceeds to step S17 to determine whether there is another service provider for which the basic registration has already been performed. If no other service provider for which the basic registration has already been performed is found in this determination, a transition is made to a portal site of the service provider for which the basic registration has already been performed. If it is determined that an IP broadcast service is provided in step S15, the processing proceeds to step S16 to perform a caution display. In the caution display, a display is made to prompt acquisition of channel information. In the case of acquiring channel information, an indication informing the user is displayed so that the channel information can be acquired at this phase. Thereby, when IP broadcasting is selected, the receiver determines whether there is a broadcast viewable with the receiver and changes a screen after transition, thus enabling the user to perform an operation without any confusion.

摘要: In accordance with a first aspect of the present invention, an edge node is provided with the storage destination management information that is corresponded to the edge node. The storage destination management information includes the information that indicates a storage destination for a core node of a file that has been written to a file storage region (an edge storage region) for an edge node that is corresponded to the information and includes the information that indicates a recall date that is a date that has been read by the edge node. The edge node judges whether or not there is an old file (a file before an update) in an edge storage region for the edge node based on the storage destination management information that is corresponded to the edge node and the storage destination information that is corresponded to another edge node, and create a stub for only an old file without creating a stub for a file after an update (a latest file).
