A method provides an EAMR transducer. The EAMR transducer is coupled with a laser and has an ABS configured to reside in proximity to a media during use. The EAMR transducer includes an NFT for focusing the energy onto the media. A sacrificial layer is deposited on the NFT and a mask having an aperture provided on the sacrificial layer. A portion of the sacrificial layer exposed by the aperture is removed to form a trench above the NFT. A heat sink is then provided. At least part of the heat sink resides in the trench. The heat sink is thermally coupled to the NFT. Optical material(s) are provided around the heat sink. A write pole configured to write to a region of the media is also provided. The write pole is thermally coupled with the top of the heat sink. Coil(s) for energizing the write pole are also provided.

The composite marine bacterial liquid is generated by mixing the fermented culture liquid of a stain of Cycloclasticus sp. PY97M and a stain of Marinobacter sp. D15-8W, the cell concentration of each is 107-109 CFU/mL. The preparation method includes: inoculating the seed liquid of Cycloclasticus strains and Marinobacter strains individually into the sodium acetate medium or M8 medium, fermenting under the condition of defoaming by flowing addition of defoamer, and mixing the fermented cultures to obtain the composite marine bacterial liquid, then preparing a 5-fold concentrated liquid by centrifuging and storing at 4° C.

A method and corresponding electronic ballast circuit for regulating the ignition voltage of a discharge lamp is described. The circuit includes a discharge lamp with an AC operating voltage supplied by a half-bridge inverter circuit comprising two transistors. The method includes detecting the current flowing through one transistor of the two transistors, and comparing the detected current with a predetermined reference value. When the detected current exceeds a predetermined reference value, a driving period of the one transistor is terminated and the driving period of the other transistor of said two transistors is started, and the driving period of said other transistor is made to be the same as the terminated driving period of the one transistor.
