An anti-doming composition including a mixture of electron reflecting material such as bismuth oxide, and a zeolite, and a shadow-mask coated with the composition restrict temperature increase by preventing heat transfer, an anti-doming composition including lead and a ZnO, B.sub.2 O.sub.3, Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3 or a mixture thereof, and a shadow-mask coated with the composition protect mechanical expansion of a shadow-mask, and an anti-doming composition including ferroelectrics such as PZT, PT, PZ or PLZT, and a shadow-mask coated with the composition restrict temperature increase by changing the energy of electron beams into non-thermal energy. The shadow-mask of the present invention reduces about 30 to 50% of the anti-doming ratio and has a low production cost and easiness during processes.

In a multi liquid crystal display device, the side surfaces of liquid crystal display panels are combined with each other, and each of the liquid crystal display panels includes a pair of substrates facing each other and having liquid crystal injected therebetween. An attachment film is attached to the side surface of the liquid crystal display panel and combined to the adjacent liquid crystal display panel. Each of the liquid crystal display panels are combined by attaching the attachment films to each other.

A plasma display panel includes front and rear substrates; anodes in a stripe pattern on a facing surface of the front substrate; a lower electrode coating the entire facing surface of the rear substrate; a dielectric layer coating the lower electrode; an upper electrode coating the dielectric layer in a pattern; and a lattice of partition walls between the upper electrode and the front substrate. The portions of the dielectric layer between the partition walls and not coated with the upper electrode form respective pixels. Sputtering is minimized and there is less damage to the electrodes by the gas, thus extending the length of use of the product. The ferroelectric material of the lower electrode has excellent resistance with respect to the discharge gas and the discharge can be initiated with a low initial discharge starting voltage since the ferroelectric cathode provides enough electrons for the discharge.

The donor film includes a support layer, a light absorbing layer and a transfer layer, wherein the transfer layer comprises an acryl resin represented by the following formula (1) as a bonding resin: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 indicates a hydrogen or methyl group; R.sub.2 indicates C.sub.1 .about.C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.2 .about.C.sub.10 hydroxyalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, C.sub.5 .about.C.sub.10 cycloalkyl or benzyl group; R.sub.3 indicates C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, C.sub.5 .about.C.sub.10 cycloalkyl or benzyl group; X indicates a vinyl group, epoxy group or hydrogen atom; and 0.1.ltoreq.a.ltoreq.0.65, 0.3.ltoreq.b.ltoreq.0.8 and 0.ltoreq.c.ltoreq.0.2 (Here, a, b and c denote mole fractions, and the sum of a, b and c is 1). According to the manufacturing process of a color filter using a donor film of the present invention, only transfer and curing processes are required for each color, and also the color layers may be cured all at once, if necessary, to thereby largely reduce the number of processes. Thus, the color filter using the donor film is easily manufactured.

The present invention provides with a black matrix, a phosphor screen, and a method of manufacturing thereof. For a method of manufacturing the black matrix formed on the inner surface of a panel of a color CRT, a photoresist is not used, but a wet electrophotographic method was employed, using graphite for a main component of the black matrix materials, and forming a phosphor screen by a dry electrophotographic method to improve the quality of a color cathode-ray-tube.

A ballast circuit for a fluorescent lamp for starting the fluorescent lamp and a compact fluorescent lamp is provided. The ballast circuit adopts a bypass capacitor which bypasses a high frequency and high harmonics to a smoothing portion for compensating a recovery characteristic of a rectification diode which causes a problem by feeding back high frequency currents (most of them are I.sub.L) which flow during the ignition of a lamp to a power source input, and including a high frequency component much included in a rectifying and smoothing operation. Thus, a power factor increases 95% or more.

An apparatus for measuring the intensity of ultrasonic waves generated by a diaphragm including a plurality of vibrators in a cleaning tank is provided. The apparatus includes a frame having bars corresponding to each side of a hexahedron, and a plurality of aluminum foils spaced a predetermined interval apart from each other and perpendicular to four parallel bars of the frame. The apparatus for measuring the intensity of ultrasonic waves can be used for cleaning a shadow mask during manufacture of a cathode ray tube.

An intelligent battery device comprises the battery pack and the battery management device. The battery pack includes a battery group which is chargeable and dischargeable and a thermistor which detects and outputs the temperature of the battery group. The battery management unit, after receiving power and temperature signal from the battery pack between the battery pack and a host equipment, transfers power and information about the remaining capacity and deterioration of the battery to the host equipment and then transfers power supplied from the host equipment to the battery pack. The separation of the battery pack and the battery management unit allows the users to avoid malfunction of the battery management unit and damage to the circuit substrate when the battery group leaks liquid from the inner part and overheats in a hot and humid climate, and to change only the battery pack without touching the battery management unit when the user would like to change the battery group, to thereby reduce the burden of the user.
