Abstract:
A door checker for an automobile includes: a case fixed to one of a body and a door of the automobile; a check lever movably penetrating the case, oscillatably axis-supported by the other of the body and the door, and provided with a rack on one side face; a pinion meshed with the rack and rotatably housed in the case; a movable shoe housed in the case so that the movable shoe can be engaged with and disengaged from a tooth portion of the pinion; and a check spring for biasing the movable shoe in the direction of engagement with the pinion. The door is held at an arbitrary opening degree by an engaging force of the movable shoe with the pinion due to a biasing force of the check spring. Thus, it is possible to easily set a large number of steps in an opening degree for holding the door.
Abstract:
An offset slider crank mechanism is connected a main body and an open/closed body. The open/closed body is pivoted to the main body in a foldable manner. A slot is disposed on the main body. A width between a first end of the slot and a second end of the slot is increasing. The offset slider crank mechanism includes a crank. A first end of the crank is connected to the open/closed body in a rotatable manner. The offset slider crank mechanism further includes a slider connected to a second end of the crank and set inside the slot in a slidable manner. When the slider engages at the first end of the slot, the slider deforms at a first deformation. When the slider engages at the second end of the slot, the slider deforms at a second deformation. The first deformation is greater than the second deformation.

An automatic door opener (10) for opening or closing a door (28) includes a motor (14) driving a drive shaft (50) and an opener arm (18) connected to the door (28) and being responsive to rotation of the drive shaft (50) for moving the door (28) to an open or closed position. A clutch (46) operable to disengage the drive shaft (50) from the opener arm (18) is provided in the event of the door (28) engaging an obstacle, electric power being unavailable, or the door being fully open or fully closed. The door opener (10) may also include a brake (48) for selectively preventing movement of the door (28). Various embodiments of the invention are provided, including an electromagnet (80) and an electromagnetic brake (114).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlled braking of an electrically powered lifting action in the event of a failure, such that at least one of the nominal values for “rotational direction” and/or “operating speed” and/or “door position” and/or “motor capacity” and/or “motor current” is ascertained and compared with an actual value, and such that a motorized braking process or motorized stopping process is triggered by a departure of the actual value from the nominal value that lies outside a predetermined range. In addition the invention relates to a device for applying said method.
Abstract:
An adjusting system of a motor vehicle for the adjustment of a closing part is disclosed. The system includesa first and second casing extending oblong in a length-wise direction. The second casing has a smaller cross section than the first casing and is arranged within the first casing to be adjustable in a length-wise direction. A spindle for the relative adjustment of a first casing to the second casing is included and arranged within either or both of the first and second casings. The system also includes an electromotor and a transmission connected with either or both of the spindle and second casing. In addition, at least one spring is arranged within either or both of the first and second casings and operates length-wise, such that one of the casings is attached on the side of the motor vehicle body and another of the casings is attached to the closing side.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an engaging/disengaging fail-safe door closing device for a rolling fire door, provided between a power device and a speed reducing device of a door machine, including an electromagnet fixed inside a housing of the door machine and disposed around the outside of a shaft of the power device; a brake device including a shaft sleeve, loosely embracing around the outside of the shaft of the power device and being capable of sliding between the shaft and the electromagnet, on one end of which, there is provided an attracted plate facing the magnet and coming off the magnet by way of the biasing force of an elastic element, while on the other end there is radially formed a brake disk; a driving plate fixed on the shaft of the power device and facing a position where the brake disk is allowed to contact; and a circuit used to control the electromagnet to be electrified to excite in order for actuating the brake when the door reaches a predetermined position, or to release the brake when the power is cut off.
Abstract:
A carrier for a window sash having an actuatable friction adjuster. The friction adjuster has a carrier interface that interacts with a mating friction adjuster interface of the carrier such that the actuation of the friction adjuster by rotating it within an oblong slot in the carrier causes the carrier interface to interact with the friction adjuster interface and forces a rear portion of the friction adjuster into progressively increasing frictional contact with an adjacent portion of a window frame sash channel.
Abstract:
The clutch includes a drive disk, a follower disk and a brake disk. When current flows, the follower disk is connected with the drive disk to transmit a power from a driving unit to a door-opening/closing mechanism. When no current flows, the follower disk is separated from the drive disk to cut off the power transmission from the driving unit to the door-opening/closing mechanism. In a state that the drive disk and the follower disk are separated from each other, the brake disk is connected to the follower disk to brake the door-opening/closing mechanism in the opening direction of the door, and to allow the door-opening/closing mechanism to move in the closing direction of the door.
Abstract:
The present powered sliding device includes a wire drum (16) connected to a vehicle sliding door (11) through wire cables (18, 19), a motor (14) for rotating the wire drum, a clutch mechanism (25) provided between the motor and the wire drum, a first rotational member (85) rotated integrally with the wire drum, first detection means (86) for detecting the rotation of the first rotational member, and a housing (74). The housing includes a first space (76) accommodating the wired drum and communicating with the outside of the housing through the wire cables and a second space accommodating the first rotational member and the first detection means, and a housing body (73) provided between the first space and the second space for zoning the first space and the second space.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for automatically actuating a vehicle door (1), in particular a side door or a tailgate of the motor vehicle. Said device comprises a control device (12) and a drive (4;4null) that consists of a motor (5) with a gearing (6) connected downstream and at least one transmission element (8;20) located between the gearing (6) and the vehicle door (1). The aim of the invention is to facilitate the manual actuation of an automatically actuated vehicle door (1) that is in an open position. To achieve this, a load sensor (10) is mounted on the drive (4). When a predetermined load on the open vehicle door (1) has been reached, said sensor generates a control signal, which is fed to the control device (12) for activating the motor (5), or for decoupling a coupling (18) that is located between the gearing (6) and the transmission element (8;20), the load on the open vehicle door (1) being produced e.g. by a corresponding manual pressure on said vehicle door (1).
