Abstract:
An apparatus for closing a locker, which can be lowered, of a baggage compartment, in particular of an overhead baggage compartment in an aircraft, wherein the locker is connected in an actuating element (5) which is held on a frame (1) such that it can rotate or pivot, and is connected to a gas compression spring (18) in order to assist a closing movement of the locker. In order to allow a completely automatic closing movement, the invention proposes that an electromechanical hybrid drive is provided in order to drive the actuating element (5) and, in addition to the mechanical component of the gas compression spring (18), has an electrical drive apparatus (12) as an electrical component.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed towards improved mounting structures and methods for formation of window regulator systems for vehicles. In one exemplary embodiment, a mounting structure for a window regulator system is provided. The mounting structure includes a main body defining cavity for rotatably receiving a portion of a pulley; and an engagement feature depending away from the main body, the engagement feature engaging the portion of the pulley and preventing movement of the pulley away from the main body, the engagement feature being substantially free of fasteners for preventing movement of the portion of the pulley away from the main body.
Abstract:
A unit support for a motor vehicle door includes at least one longitudinally extended guide rail of a motor vehicle window lifter arranged on the unit support, which extends between a first and a second end portion and on which a drive element serving to receive a window pane to be adjusted along an adjusting path of the guide rail defined by guide surfaces is movably guided. A hollow body is integrally formed on the unit support in the region of at least one end portion of the guide rail. The hollow body extends the guide surfaces of the guide rail serving to guide the drive element, defining the adjusting path and/or a deflection element is provided on the hollow body for deflecting a flexible traction means of the window lifter, in order to increase the length of travel of the motor vehicle window lifter in the direction of extension of the guide rail.
Abstract:
An automatic closing device for returning a sliding section of a sliding door assembly to a closed position without application of an external force. The automatic closing device has a controlled return mechanism that has an adjustable mass assembly and a spring. The controlled return mechanism generates a force that returns the sliding section to its closed position after the sliding section is opened. The controlled return mechanism has a connector having a first end and a second end. The first end of the connector is attached to a fixed position on the sliding door assembly and the second end of the connector is attached to a top end of the controlled return mechanism. The controlled return mechanism has a pulley assembly having a plurality of pulleys that guides the connector from the top end of the controlled return mechanism to the fixed position on the sliding door assembly.
Abstract:
A cable-and-pulley mounted overhead door includes a mechanism for sensing when the cable is tending to slacken and to automatically take-up the slack so as to thereby prevent the cable from disengaging from its pulley. When the overhead door includes an automated drive system, provision is further made for sensing when the take up of slack has progressed to a determined degree and to responsively turn off the automated drive system.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a control apparatus for automatic sliding doors that can be used with a plurality of door brands and models. The invention includes a control box and an idler pulley mounted to the door header. Both the control box and idler pulley can be mounted on a variety of door models by means of specific header brackets that are configured for each door model. The control box also provides a universal signal interface that can interpret sensor signals from a plurality of door models. A drive belt revolves on the idler pulley and is moved by a motorized pulley controlled by the control box. At least one belt bracket is fastened to the drive belt with a belt clamp, wherein the belt bracket is attached to a sliding door panel. Like the control box and idler pulley, the belt bracket can be used with a variety of door models and is attached to the sliding panel by means of a door bracket that is specific to the door model in question.
Abstract:
A device that includes a revolving pulley around which an operating cable is rolled which runs inside a cover and a support device onto which the aforementioned pulley is rigidly mounted on the end of the rail, and equipped with stoppers at the end of the cover. It includes a flat cover with an opening for the assembly of the stoppers which include a tubular body fixed to the flat, insides which the end of the cover is held. The tubular body has a lower extension to be inserted into the opening of the flat cover which is in a V shape to prevent the tubular body from being released from the flat cover once it is inserted into the opening.
Abstract:
An opening and closing device opens and closes a sliding door by using a cable connected to the sliding door movably attached to a vehicle body. The opening and closing device has a base bracket, a motor, a transmission, a rotary drum, a first conduit fixed portion, a second conduit fixed portion, a first tension controller and a second tension controller. The base bracket is fixed to the vehicle body with bolts. The motor, the transmission, the rotary drum, the first and second conduit fixed portions and the first and second tension controllers are fixed to a disposition face of the base bracket. The first and second tension controllers are respectively disposed between the rotary drum and the first conduit fixed portion and between the rotary drum and the second conduit fixed portion, and applies tension to the cable fed from the rotary drum to take up the slack.
Abstract:
A vehicle door, wherein a drive unit for raising and lowering a glass plate is constructed so that a plurality of pulleys across which wires are laid are provided at upper and lower sides of a base panel. The glass plate is moved up and down by driving the wires, and the glass plate is prevented from moving in a vehicle inward direction when the door is closed. Wire fixing portions are prevented from being damaged by large upward and downward stroke movements of the glass plate Furthermore, the wires are prevented from slackening when the wires are driven and stopped by providing a supporting rod along a path of upward and downward movement of the glass plate, and a contact member which has no contact with the supporting rod. Trumpet-shaped guide portions are provided at hole edges of the wire fixing portions, and the V-shaped circumferential surfaces of a tensioner eliminates slack in the wires.
Abstract:
A device for adjusting a window regulator in a vehicle door, having a profiled base element (110) positonable on a lower section of the vehicle door and provided with a first elongate hole (111b) in its lower side and a second elongate hole (111a) in its upper side. A slider (112) slidingly moves within the base element (110) and includes a hole (113) aligned with the first elongate hole (111b). A screw extends through the hole (113) in the slider and the first elongate hole (111b) aligned therewith. A bolt (116) is fixedly attachable to the window regulator extending through the second elongate hole (111a) and includes a threaded rod engaging the threading of screw (114). The screw (114) can be turned from a first position, in which it does not engage the slider (112), to a second position, in which it engages the slider (112) with the first screw end (114b). The device provides for simple compensation of tolerances in connection with the vehicle door and for the window regulator.
