    Abstract: An electric device in the shape of a machine tool or an energy storage module for the electric power supply of a machine tool, with the energy storage module having a module housing with a device interface for the detachable connection to the machine tool, with the machine tool having a drive motor to drive a tool holder on which a tool provided to process a workpiece is arranged or is arrangeable, with the drive motor being switchable using a switching element of the machine tool and/or the energy storage module, with the electric device having a wireless communication interface for wireless communication with an external communication apparatus, which forms part of a vacuum cleaner provided to suction dust generated by the machine tool and with the wireless communication interface being designed to send at least one control command to control, the vacuum cleaner as a function of a switching status of the switching element to the external communication apparatus via a wireless control connection.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a remote electrical tilt unit, a base station, and a method for managing a remote electrical tilt antenna. The method includes: receiving, by the remote electrical tilt unit, permission configuration information sent by a first base station through a group of AISG ports of the remote control unit; configuring management permission of the first base station on the remote electrical tilt unit according to the permission configuration information, where the management permission includes at least control permission and query permission, and control permission on the remote electrical tilt unit can be allocated to only one base station. In this way, multiple base stations jointly manage a remote electrical tilt unit in a remote electrical tilt antenna, and a problem that it is difficult to locate and troubleshoot a fault when configuration of the remote electrical tilt unit is incorrect is resolved.

    Abstract: A wireless pairing system includes a remote controller and at least one display device. The remote controller includes a first processing unit, an input unit and a first wireless communication unit. The input unit includes a broadcast request key and a plurality of input keys. The display device includes a second processing unit, a display unit and a second wireless communication unit. The display device has an identification code. When the broadcast request key is triggered, the first processing unit sends out a broadcast request signal through the first wireless communication unit. When the second processing unit receives the broadcast request signal through the second wireless communication unit, the second processing unit controls the display unit to display the identification code. When the input keys are operated to input the identification code of the display device, the remote controller and the display device are paired with each other.

    Abstract: A controlled device generates an authentication random number. A control device accepts input of a random number from an input device. The controlled device verifies if the displayed authentication random number and the random number transferred from the control device are identical to transfer a public key of the controlled device to the control device. The controlled device generates a token. The control device encrypts the token with the public key of the controlled device. The controlled device decrypts the token and verifies if the token transferred from the control device and the generated token are identical to generate a session key. The control device stores the session key into the storage device. The control device controlling the controlled device by encrypted communication using the session key.

    Abstract: In embodiments, apparatuses, methods and storage media are described that are associated with remote control of media devices. A remote control and a content player may be configured to facilitate a secured pairing process. The remote control may be configured to send non-secured signals (such as through an IR transmitter) as well as send and receive secured signals (such as via an RF transceiver). The remote control may non-securely broadcast an uncompressed identifier of itself. Then, in response to being turned on or asked to pair, the remote control may send a pairing request to the player that includes a compressed identifier. The player may then identify the remote control based on the compressed identifier and the previously-broadcast uncompressed identifier and the remote control and player may then perform a pairing process without requiring additional action on the part of a user.     Abstract: In embodiments, apparatuses, methods and storage media are described that are associated with remote control of media devices. In embodiments, a remote control and a content player may be configured to facilitate a secured pairing process. The remote control may be configured to send non-secured signals (such as through an IR transmitter) as well as send and receive secured signals (such as via Bluetooth™ using an RF transceiver).
