    摘要: A compact, vehicle-mounted antenna is disclosed. In one embodiment, a first and second antenna element are positioned on a conductive ground plane. The antenna elements can comprise platforms supported by a ground and a feed. The antenna elements can be tuned to various bands (e.g., cellular or PCS). At least one additional antenna element (e.g., a GPS receive antenna) can be positioned between the two antenna elements. One of the feeds of the antenna elements can be angled so that the antenna element has a desired height (e.g., a height matching the other antenna element). The antenna elements can be electrically connected to a transmission line via a single feed line.

    摘要: A system for remote monitoring of vehicle tire pressure includes monitors mounted in the tires, each including a tire pressure sensor, a transmitter for transmitting a tire pressure signal, a battery for the transmitter, and a receiver for receiving an initiation signal. Initiators are mounted on-board the vehicle, each initiator associated with one of the tire monitors. Each initiator is for use in generating a low frequency initiation signal for receipt by a tire receiver to cause the transmitter to transmit a tire pressure signal. A vehicle mounted controller activates the initiators in order to generate the low frequency initiation signals, and processes the tire pressure signals to convey tire pressure information to a user. The controller further activates the initiators in order to generate a low frequency electromagnetic field for use in recharging the batteries in the tire monitors.

    摘要: An antenna device, especially, used in a shielded environment, is disclosed. The antenna device comprises an external receiving antenna installed at an outer side of a shielded environment for receiving signals from a satellite; an internal receiving antenna installed internal a shielded environment for receiving signals emitted from a satellite; a signal amplifying device electrically connected to the external receiving antenna and the internal receiving antenna; and a power supply device connected to the signal amplifying device for supplying power to the antenna device. Satellite signals are received by the external receiving antenna. Then the signals are amplified by the signal amplifying device, and then are emitted to ward a shielded environment by the internal receiving antenna. Thereby, the wireless device is usable in the shielded environment.
