    摘要: An apparatus for generating a wobble motion with a wobble body is disclosed. An endless band is secured to the wobble body for transmitting motion thereto. The endless band is formed of a flat circular ring band which is bent about axes parallel to two perpendicular diameters. In position, the endless band includes a symmetry plane which extends through one of the body suspension means. A drive mechanism secured to a frame imparts motion to the wobble body via the endless band. The wobble body is rotatably secured to a frame by suspension means.

    摘要: A high speed ship configuration for achieving a plane state efficiently, with threshold power available in fully loaded cargo ship. The system may include a boost phase assist structure to assist in the achievement of a plane state. The boost assist may be external or internal to the ship. The boost assist may provide power and/or lift assist. In one embodiment, the configuration includes a retractable lateral wing structure disposed toward the stern of the vessel and containing auxiliary power providing thrust for the vessel. The wing structure is deployed during an initial boost phase acceleration and may be stowed in the vessel once the vessel achieves full plane operation. In one embodiment, the boost power structure may include propeller drive, paddle drive, or waterjet drive. The boost power structure may provide buoyancy and/or hydrodynamic trim to assist in achieving plane state operation.

A support structure is operatively secured to the flex support. A geared architecture is mounted to the support structure. First members are removably secured to one of the engine static structure and the flex support and second members are removably secured to the support structure. The first and second members are circumferentially aligned with one another and spaced apart from one another during a normal operating condition. The first and second members are configured to be engageable with one another during an extreme event to limit axial movement of the geared architecture relative to the engine static structure.

    摘要: Provided is a quiet propeller including a propeller blade having such a pitch angle not at its root portion but at its blade end edge portion with respect to a relative flow in the rotational direction, as to raise the internal pressure of a liquid thereby to eliminate a cavity, a water bubble or a cavitation at the blade root portion at the time of a high-speed rotation so that the propeller is rotated at a high speed by a small prime mover and by a prime mover capable of moving much fluid backward. In the quiet propeller, a propeller blade is curved backward at its leading end portion to form a slope portion, and a rotational front side end portion in the slope portion is formed into an arcuate shape in the side view whereas a rotational rear side end portion is so gradually extended backward from the rotational front side end portion as to become straight from the blade root to the blade end, thereby to form a deflecting slope face. At the rotating time, the fluid is pushed toward the back axis from the deflecting slope face in the slope portion.
