摘要： A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, having a plurality of in-line pump elements in which the supply onset is effected by means of control slides, one of which is axially displaceable on each of the pump pistons and by controlling relief conduits of the pump work chambers. The control slides are actuated via a torque shaft in that via driver tangs which are secured to the torque shaft by fastening parts screwed to the torque shaft, the control slides are axially displaced upon rotation of the torque shaft. For adjusting the stroke or axial position of the individual control slides to one another, spacer means, in particular shims are provided between the fastening part and the torque shaft in the stroke direction of the control slides.

摘要： A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having control slides that are both axially displaceable and rotatable on the pump piston via a governor rod for controlling the injection quantity and the injection onset. A slit hub is releasably clamped on the governor rod with a driver arm, the hub being arranged to engage the control slide between two working faces and the hub has a driver recess for the rotational adjustment of the control slide. The driver recess is engaged by a tang joined with the control slide.

摘要： A fuel injection pump has a control sleeve slidably fitted over a plunger. The plunger is provided with two lateral holes and an inclined groove open to and extending between respective ends of said lateral holes. The end of injection occurs when the inclined groove communicates with a cut-off port formed in the control sleeve, and the timing of injection is adjustable by the rotation of the plunger. To keep fuel noninjected, the plunger is rotated to a position at which the second lateral hole is brought into communication with the cut-off port.

摘要： A plunger assembly within a barrel is transversely split into two segments, with a timing fluid chamber therebetween for controllably varying the distance between the plunger segments in response to pressure applied thereto by a timing fluid introduced under variable pressure through a timing fluid inlet port. As the total length of the plunger assmebly is thus varied controllably, so is its prestroke which is the distance traversed by the plunger assembly on its compression stroke from one extreme position thereof to an intermediate position where the plunger assembly completely covers the fuel inlet port. Not only is the injection timing thus controlled by the injection pump itself, but also a high injection pressure is realized at low engine speed or under light load.

The oblique groove is arranged to communicate via a conduit with a pump work chamber. The pump piston is rotatable and has a longitudinal groove of predetermined length on its jacket surface, which groove is adapted to communicate with the oblique groove and with its end remote from the pump work chamber determines the supply onset of the pump by plunging into the control slide.

摘要： A plunger pump wherein the plunger is reciprocable in a barrel by a tappet which is coupled to the plunger by a pressure member. The tappet is reciprocable by a rotary cam in conjunction with a coil spring and is movable axially of the plunger by a first drive having a sleeve surrounding the barrel and having jaws in engagement with complementary jaws of the pressure member. Rotation of the pressure member in response to rotation of the sleeve entails axial movement of the tappet because the latter has threads in mesh with complementary threads of the pressure member whereby the tappet changes the length of forward and return strokes of the plunger. The latter has a control edge which can regulate the volume of outflowing liquid in response to rotation of the plunger on actuation of a second drive having a second rotary sleeve with jaws engaging complementary jaws of the plunger.

摘要： A fuel injection unit for each cylinder of a diesel engine includes a housing which accommodates a piston pump and an injection nozzle. The piston pump includes a cylinder liner in which a piston runs and controls a flow passage radially extending in the cylinder liner. The flow passage communicates with a supply space which is provided between the housing and the cylinder liner and is divided in vicinity of the flow passage by a baffle sleeve. The so formed two chambers are connected to separate inlet and outlet lines, i.e. that one chamber is connected to the inlet line while the other chamber communicates with the outlet line.

摘要： The fuel injection quantity of a fuel injection apparatus provided with a fuel injection pump is electrically regulated by means of the opening duration of a metering valve. Additionally, a shift in the instant of supply onset controlled in accordance with operating characteristics is attained by means of a change in the return-flow fuel quantity, which is diverted into a refill reservoir and then refilled completely into the pump work chamber by the beginning of the next subsequent injection stroke. Serving as the sole connection between the refill reservoir and a pump work chamber is an overflow conduit, the overflow opening of which, located at the discharge location into the pump work chamber, is opened by two control locations on the pump piston at the end of supply and once again shortly before bottom dead center. The two control locations are embodied by an oblique control edge on the pump piston that determines the end of supply and by a horizontal, end-face control edge, with the horizontal control edge assuring that shortly before bottom dead center any remnant quantity of the return-flow fuel still remaining in the refill reservoir is refilled back into the pump work chamber.
