Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an acoustic output apparatus including at least one acoustic driver, a controller, and a supporting structure. The at least one acoustic driver may be configured to output sounds through at least two sound guiding holes. The at least two sound guiding holes may include a first sound guiding hole and a second sound guiding hole. The controller may be configured to control a phase and an amplitude of the sounds generated by the at least one acoustic driver using a control signal such that the sounds output by the at least one acoustic driver through the first and second sound guiding holes have opposite phases. The supporting structure may be provided with a baffle and configured to support the at least one acoustic driver such that the first and second sound guiding holes are located on both sides of the baffle.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system for validating products that are placed in a shopping cart includes a shopping cart configured to retain products and to be operated by a user in a retail environment. The shopping cart includes product validation hardware and a controller. The product validation hardware includes motion sensors positioned along a top perimeter of the shopping cart and at least one sound sensor positioned inside the shopping cart. The shopping cart is configured to receive, from the motion sensors, motion data when a product enters a top horizontal plane of the shopping cart, and to receive, from the sound sensor, audio data that is collected in real-time as the product is placed in the shopping cart. An audio signature is generated for the product, and is used to validate the product that is placed in the shopping cart.

Abstract: A link includes an arm having first and second recess/apertures, receiving first and second bearings, respectively. The bearings are attachable to structures, allowing movement of one structure independently of the other. The recess/aperture has an inward facing surface, and the bearing has an outward facing surface, the inward and outward facing surfaces being substantially arcuate. The connection between each link and the connecting arm is closer to the base than the connection between each link and the shell.

Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of audio device, and in particular discloses a speaker assembly, a microphone and a smart portable karaoke system. The speaker assembly includes an accommodating groove for storing a microphone. When the microphone is in the accommodating groove, the microphone has two states: a sunken state, in which the microphone is configured to slide downwards with respect to the accommodating groove and is locked in the accommodating groove when being pushed for the first time; and a lifted state, in which the microphone is released and is configured to slide upwards with respect to the accommodating groove when being pushed again. The speaker assembly provided by the present application can effectively solve the problem that the microphone is inconvenient to carry and accommodate.

Abstract: A radio receiver apparatus comprises radio circuitry for receiving a sequence of radio data packets, transmitted at regular intervals, wherein the sequence of radio data packets encodes a digital audio stream and each radio data packet encodes a respective number of audio samples from the digital audio stream. The apparatus also comprises a digital audio interface for outputting audio samples from the received digital audio stream, a controllable oscillator arranged to control an output rate at which the audio samples are output from the digital audio interface, and a timer. The apparatus also comprises control logic, configured to use the timer to measure an interval between receiving each of a pair of the radio data packets, and to control the oscillator to vary the output rate incrementally, in a number of steps, while outputting the audio samples from one radio data packet. The number of steps, or the size of each step, or both, depends on the measured interval.
