    摘要: The present invention provides a process and apparatus for readily and continuously producing foamed resin containers with labels by following a process sequence including the steps of supplying a sheet which bears label bodies printed in predetermined positions thereon, positioning a label body, punching the label body, and molding a foamed resin container with the label properly positioned. The invention further provides a process which allows for precise positioning of a label. Therefore, a thin and less stiff synthetic resin sheet can be employed for the label instead of a paper base. In addition, the label can be applied in a predetermined position on the foamed resin container without preliminarily rolling the label into a predetermined tubular shape.

    摘要: A film magazine forming apparatus forms a sheet having printing on a side thereof into an almost cylindrical shape. The film magazine formed into the almost cylindrical shape has separated lip portions for enabling a film to mvoe therethrough. The lip portions have a soft yarn mounted thereon. Transport apparatus transports the sheet to forming means including a core mold, an upper mold, and first and second side molds which form the sheet into an almost cylindrical shape with the printing on the side of the sheet forming an outer cylindrical surface of the almost cylindrical sheet. Transport apparatus transports the sheet with the printed side of the sheet being out of contact with the transport apparatus to prevent damage to the printing on the sheet. In addition, the core mold is used as a guide for transporting the almost cylindrical shape sheet to another operating position. A claw can be mounted on the core mold for transporting the thus formed almost cylindrical shape to another operational position.

    摘要: Methods are provided for lining and wrapping both interior and exterior surfaces of tubular structures with materials that protect the underlying structures from adverse environmental conditions, provide a thermal control coating and prevent exchanging moisture with the surrounding environments. The methods use adhesives to securely position the lining or wrapping material inside or around the exterior of the tubular structure. The adhesives prevent the formation of discontinuities in the protective layer provided by the lining or wrapping material by holding the protective materials in place during the fabrication process. The wrapping materials are sealed by an ultrasonically welded seam to prevent environmental attack through the seam to the underlying tubular structure.

    摘要: A process for fabricating belts are disclosed in which the leading edge of a web is conveyed from a supply roll into a belt loop forming station, the web is cut a predetermined distance from the leading edge to form a web segment having the leading edge at one end and a trailing edge at the opposite end, the lower surface of the web adjacent the leading edge is inverted, the lower surface of the web adjacent the trailing edge is inverted, the inverted leading edge and the inverted trailing edge are overlapped to form a loop of the web segment loosely suspended from the joint formed by the overlapped leading edge and trailing edge, the loop of the web segment at the belt loop forming station is transferred to an anvil, the loop of the web segment on the anvil is conveyed to a welding station and the overlapped leading edge and trailing edge are welded together on the anvil to form a belt welded at the joint.
