Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that facilitate the use of application content such as text, images, video, and 3D models in XR environments. In some implementations, an XR environment is provided that has user interfaces from one or more separately executing applications. A user may use a user interface from one such application to create, edit, view and otherwise use a content item, e.g., create a document with text, images, etc., view a video, surf the web to view webpage content items. However, while a content item is within the application, the content item may be restricted with respect to access by the overall XR environment and/or one or more other content applications. Implementations disclosed herein enable users to provide input to use of the content from within one content application in the XR environment and/or one or more other applications.

Abstract: A system may include an electronic device such as a head-mounted device and a handheld input device for controlling the electronic device. A tracking device may be removably coupled to the handheld input device to increase the precision with which the head-mounted device tracks the handheld input device. The tracking device may have larger dimensions than the handheld input device and/or may have an expandable housing that expands and retracts. Visual markers on the tracking device may include infrared light-emitting diodes, geometric surface features, or other optical tracking features. The tracking device may serve as a secondary input device for the head-mounted device when the tracking device is decoupled from the input device. The tracking device may have a recess for receiving a shaft of the input device and may have magnets or other attachment structures for attaching the tracking device to the input device.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a transceiver with a substrate and an inductor on the substrate. A ring of ground traces may surround the inductor. Circuit components may be patterned onto the substrate overlapping the inductor, a region of the substrate surrounded by the inductor, and/or a region of the substrate between the inductor and the ring. The components may be arranged in trees with feed lines extending radially outward from a central axis. The components in each tree may be separated from the capacitors in other trees by gaps, preventing eddy currents on the trees. The components may be used to form bypass capacitors for power supply lines, a low-dropout regulator load, part of the loop filter of a phase-locked loop, or other portions of the transceiver. The components may thereby be used to convey signals while also meeting fill factor requirements associated with fabrication of the substrate.

Abstract: This application describes techniques for postponed certificate credential installation to wireless devices, including generation and storage of secured scripts to be used for subsequent certificate credential installation on an eUICC of a wireless device after manufacturing. Management of certificate credentials, including installation on, modification to, and removal from, an eUICC can occur post-manufacturing, such as during a device activation procedure or as part of remote electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) provisioning to the eUICC of the wireless device. Updating certificate credentials on an eUICC can allow for wireless device operation in different geographic regions that use different public key infrastructures (PKIs) with distinct root certificate issuers. The secured scripts can be pre-generated by an eUICC manufacturer (EUM) for the particular eUICC and stored at an OEM networked server and later used to install the certificate credentials on the eUICC of the wireless device.

Abstract: Approaches are described that enhance the reliability of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) detection where the PDCCH can be transmitted repeatedly with different beams. The approaches use soft combining where the user equipment (UE) combines the soft bits from each repetition, with the combined soft bits used to jointly decode the PDCCH repetitions. To support the soft combining, the UE needs to buffer the soft bits. Buffering approaches include determining what contributes towards the buffering, including scenarios where one of the linked search sets (SSs) is dropped, what is contributed in a linked SS set pair, how the duration of buffer counting is determined, and how the UE reports its maximum buffer size capability. In scenarios where the required buffer size exceeds the UE maximum buffer size, a priority rule may be used in the PDCCH decoding using the SS sets pair, where the priority is based on the SS type, the serving cell index, the SS set ID and/or the control channel resource set (CORESET) ID.

In some embodiments, page manager circuitry maintains, in memory circuitry, page pool descriptor information that indicates memory pages allocated to multiple different page pools. It may cache page pool descriptor information from the memory circuitry in a page pool descriptor cache, where the page pool descriptor cache includes multiple entries and a given entry is configured to store the following information for a cached page pool descriptor: a location of a corresponding page pool and page pool size information. The page manager circuitry may provide pages to requesting client circuitry from the page pool based on the cached page pool descriptor information.
