A power amplifier based on a voltage-coupling scheme is disclosed. The power amplifier includes two active elements connected to each other via a primary part of a transformer, in which one of the two active elements is connected to a power-supply voltage of the amplifier, the other one is connected to a ground terminal of the amplifier, and an output power appears in a secondary part of the transformer. Therefore, a potential difference between ports of the active elements is decreased, resulting in increased reliability of the power amplifier.

A method for developing a culture medium using genome information and in silico anlaylsis. In one implementation, the method involves developing a minimal synthetic medium, including the steps of constructing a metabolic network using genome information of prokaryotic cell or eukaryotic cell, selecting components of the minimal synthetic medium removing any one among external metabolites from the constructed metabolic network and conducting metabolic flux analysis using in silico simulation, and determining a final culture medium by actual culture.

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a wafer-level package comprising the steps of coating adhesives on a wafer on which bumps are already formed and irradiating the adhesive layer using a laser to divide the wafer into individual chip units. According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively prevent adhesives from absorbing water during the dicing process when manufacturing a wafer-level package.

Disclosed herein is a divide-add circuit and a high-resolution Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) using the same. The DAC includes a plurality of DAC units and one or more divide-add circuit units. The plurality of DAC units performs Digital-Analog (DA) conversion on two or more segmented codes, into which an input digital code is segmented. The one or more divide-add circuit units is configured to be each composed only of capacitors and switches and to generate a final DA conversion output for the entire input digital code based on the voltages of the DAC units. Accordingly, a high resolution of more than ten bits can be implemented.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus for receiving a wide-band pulse signal in a communication channel using a human body. When a weak wide-band pulse signal, which is output from a communication channel using a human body as a data transmission medium, is restored to a digital signal, it is possible to accomplish low power consumption and high data transmission rate using a wide-band symmetrical triggering technology using 50-Ω impedance matching, wide-band amplification and symmetrical threshold voltages. In addition, since only a single signal electrode is used, it is possible to provide an apparatus having usability, wearability and miniaturization. In addition, it is possible to remove necessities of an external reference voltage to reduce area consumption and to simply adjust a feedback resistor to easily adjust the reception sensitivity according to a communication distance.

A three-dimensional (3-D) shape measurement method using a Moire measurement principle and a Stereo vision measurement principle is provided. The method comprises; a first step to detect candidate points and 3D positions of the candidate points in world coordinates which are identical results from typical Moiré technique by using a pattern projector, which adjusts a pitch of a fringe pattern and projects the fringe pattern to a measurement object, and a first camera, which detects a modulated fringe pattern caused by shape of shape of the object, by means of obtaining candidate points by comparing a reference fringe pattern to the modulated fringe pattern and calculating 3D positions at an arbitrary point on an image captured from the first camera; a second step to determine a final matching point among the candidate points detected from the first step by using the Stereo vision technique with the first and the second cameras, by means of projecting the 3D positions of the candidate points to an image plane of the second camera based on a camera matrix of the second camera, comparing intensity value of a projected point in the image plane of the second camera to intensity value of given point in the image plane of the first camera, and judging whether the candidate point is matched with an arbitrary point by using the stereo vision criteria; and a third step to measure the depth value of the arbitrary point by using the resultant value of the final matching point, which was determined at the second step. Therefore, the error of 2π ambiguity of the typical Moire principle is eliminated, and thus 3-D shape information can be more rapidly and accurately measured.

The present invention relates, in general, to technology applied to entertainment information devices, such as video game machines or computer game programs, information devices for representing geo-spatial information, or information devices for performing three-dimensional rendering using computer graphics and, more particularly, to a protruded displacement mapping method, which represents an object as protruding from a surface. In the image-based protruded displacement mapping method of the present invention, an intersection point search step of searching for an intersection point of a surface of a protruding object, defined by the displacement information, and an observers sight line, and displaying the shape of the protruding object on the polygonal surface, is performed. An overflow representation step of adding a separate polygonal surface and representing a shape of the protruding object, corresponding to overflow deviating from a boundary of the polygonal surface, on the added polygonal surface, is performed. A steeply inclined surface step of detecting a steeply inclined surface in the shape of the protruding object is performed. A steeply inclined surface correction step of representing an additional texture on the steeply inclined surface is performed.
