Abstract:
Disclosed are a fuel cell system and a method of controlling the system to efficiently remove air flowing into an anode side and a cathode side during a stop of a fuel cell vehicle to prevent an overvoltage of a fuel cell stack that is generated at the time of a start-up thereby enhancing a durability of a fuel cell stack. The fuel cell system illustratively includes a concentration detector mounted at a cathode side and/or an anode side of a fuel cell stack to detect the oxygen concentration in the air; a controller that outputs a control signal to release air when the oxygen concentration is greater than a set value; and an absorber that absorbs air from the cathode side and/or the anode side through an absorption line in response to the control signal output from the controller to thereby release the absorbed air to the outside.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a purge system for a fuel cell, which can reduce the time required to thaw a frozen valve during cold start-up and reduce the whole start-up time, thus improving the cold start performance. In preferred embodiments, the present invention provides a purge system for a fuel cell with improved cold start performance, the system preferably including a main pipe connected to a purge gas outlet of a fuel cell stack to discharge a purge gas purging the fuel cell stack and impurities; an auxiliary pipe branched from the main pipe; a purge valve installed in each of the main pipe and the auxiliary pipe to perform an purge operation; a cut-off valve installed at an upstream side of the purge valve in the auxiliary pipe; and a controller for controlling the operation of the purge valves and the cut-off valve.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for removing residual water in a fuel cell, which controls the humidity of purge gases to effectively remove residual water in the fuel cell and to maintain the humidity in a membrane at a constant level, thus ensuring the durability of the membrane. For this purpose, the present invention provides a method for removing residual water in a fuel cell, characterized in that the relative humidities of purge gases supplied to an anode and a cathode are controlled to selectively reduce water content in the fuel cell and water content in a membrane.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a fuel cell bipolar plate in which an air gap or a material layer having a heat transfer coefficient lower than that of the bipolar plate is provided so as to reduce total amount of liquid water generated in a fuel cell, thereby preventing the occurrence of flooding and reducing the time required for cold start, enhancing durability, decreasing parasitic purge requirements, and enhancing operational stability.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a preparing method of microcapsule containing unsaturated fatty acid comprising the steps of (a) preparing a first coating material by mixing and gelatinating one or more gums selected from the group consisting of xanthan gum, guar gum, and locusbean gum, with poly glycerin esters of fatty acid in sterilized water, adding unsaturated fatty acid to the solution, and homogenizing the solution; (b) preparing a second coating material by mixing and gelatinating starch or modified starch, gelatin or casein, and poly glycerin esters of fatty acid in sterilized water, adding the first coating material prepared in (a) to the solution, and homogenizing the solution; and (c) spraying the second coating material prepared in (b) in cold sterilized water; a microcapsule prepared by the method; and articles containing the microcapsule. The present microcapsule has effects of preventing the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acid and inhibiting offensive smell.

The test system may comprise a cell array including defective cells formed according to various failure causes, a test apparatus configured to measure electric characteristics from the defective cells and make the measured electric characteristics numerical, and a database apparatus configured to store the numerical electric characteristics. The failure parsing method may include forming defective cells to have at least one failure cause, measuring electric characteristics of each of the defective cells, storing the measured electric characteristics of each of the defective cells in a database, and judging failure causes of a failed chip of a semiconductor wafer based on the database.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for guaranteeing the performance of Ethernet packets in an Ethernet system. A packet sorting unit receives the Ethernet packets, processes header information of the Ethernet packets, and sorts the Ethernet packets. A packet processing unit stores the Ethernet packets, calculates the number of the Ethernet packets, and outputs the Ethernet packets. A packet to synchronous digital hierarchy frame converting unit receives the Ethernet packets output from the packet processing unit, converts the received Ethernet packets into synchronous digital hierarchy frames, calculates the number of the converted frames, maps the frames to a virtual container group, and outputs the virtual container group. And a signal processing unit measures the performance of the Ethernet packets on the basis of the number of the Ethernet packets stored in the packet processing unit and the number of the frames, and outputs the first and second control signals.
