Abstract:
In a method for selecting an operation channel, a wireless network connecting apparatus is configured to: identify at least one preoccupied channel; determine a plurality of available channels; evaluate a channel quality of each of the available channels; select one of the available channels based on the channel quality thereof as the operation channel, and to switch to the operation channel; transmit an evaluation packet through the operation channel; determine whether the operation channel needs to be replaced, based on a number of data retransmissions; and exclude the operation channel from the available channels when the determination is affirmative.
Abstract:
A hinge for pivotally interconnecting first and second brackets includes a shaft having a shaft body extending through the first and second brackets and formed with an engaging end portion proximate to the second bracket, a fixing member connected to the engaging end portion, a ratchet sleeved rotatably on the shaft body between the fixing member and the second bracket, a friction mechanism having an urging unit sleeved on the shaft body between the ratchet and the fixing member and pressing the ratchet toward the second bracket, and a brake mechanism disposed on the second bracket and having a pawl member releasably engaged to the ratchet.
Abstract:
A portable memory storage device includes a housing and plural memory modules insertable into the housing. Each memory module includes a module shell, which has a module body and a positioning mechanism, and a memory member connected to the module shell. The positioning mechanism is disposed on the module body and is exposed from the housing. The positioning mechanism of a first memory module abuts against a front opening-defining edge, and the positioning mechanism of a last memory module abuts against a rear opening-defining edge, such that the plural memory modules are positioned in the housing. The memory module may be removed from the housing when the positioning mechanism is depressed.
Abstract:
A lead frame assembly includes a surrounding frame and a plurality of lead frame sets arranged in a matrix. Each lead frame set includes spaced-apart first and second lead frames and a connecting structure interconnecting one of the lead frame sets to an adjacent lead frame set. Each lead frame set is further connected to the surrounding frame through the connecting structure thereof. A plurality of insulated bars are spacedly formed on a lead frame panel. Each insulated bar covers a corresponding row of the lead frame sets and exposes bottom surfaces of the first and second lead frames. Each insulated bar further covers portions of the surrounding frame that are adjacent to two opposite outermost ones of the lead frame sets.
Abstract:
A light emitting diode chip includes a substrate, an epitaxial layer, two inclined plane units, and two electrode units. The substrate has top and bottom surfaces. The epitaxial layer is disposed on the top surface of the substrate. Each of the inclined plane units is inclined downwardly and outwardly from the epitaxial layer toward the bottom surface of the substrate, and includes an inclined sidewall formed on the epitaxial layer, and a substrate inclined wall formed on the substrate. Each of the electrode units includes an electrode disposed on the epitaxial layer, and a conductive portion extending from the electrode to the substrate inclined wall along corresponding one of the inclined plane units.
Abstract:
An electronic module includes first and second shells respectively having first and second edge surfaces with respective first and second joint units jointed together by ultrasonic welding. The first joint unit has first and second projection portions on the first edge surface, a first indentation portion between the first and second projection portions, and a bump on the second projection portion. The second joint unit complementarily engages the first joint unit. First and second bonding layers are respectively formed between the first indentation portion and the second joint unit and between the second projection portion and the second joint unit. Waterproof cable assemblies are mounted to the shells.
Abstract:
An optical biosensor module includes a circuit board having a mounting surface and first and second circuits. A light-receiving unit is disposed on the mounting surface, and includes a light receiver electrically connected to the first circuit and having a light-receiving surface. A light-emitting unit is disposed on the light-receiving surface, and includes a light emitter electrically connected to the second circuit and having a light-emitting surface, and a light emitter blocking wall surrounding the light emitter. An opaque interface exists between the light receiver and the light emitter, and a top side of the light emitter blocking wall is equal to or higher than the light-emitting surface.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a housing of an LED display device includes the steps of: (a) filling a first material into a first mold assembly at a first place to form a cover with a plurality of first display holes, followed by moving the cover to a second place, filling a second material into a second mold assembly and the cover to seal one of the plurality of the first display holes via a plurality of first transparent members; and (b) disposing an ink layer on a display side of the cover in such a manner that the ink layer covers the display side of the cover and that the first transparent member in each of the first display holes is exposed from the ink layer.
Abstract:
A housing includes a first surrounding wall connected around a base wall. The first surrounding wall has a first joint portion opposite to the base wall, a first outer surface and a first inner surface. The first outer and inner surfaces extend from the first joint portion toward the base wall. The first joint portion is stepped and has a first projecting portion adjoining the first outer surface, and a first shoulder portion indented from the first projecting portion and proximal to the first inner surface. The first shoulder portion has a plurality of parallel spaced-apart ribs protruding therefrom in a same direction as the first projecting portion. Each of the ribs has a tip that does not extend beyond a top end of the first projecting portion.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes a first sensor, a second sensor, an engine, a fuel supplying device, and a control device. The control device includes a first sensor detecting unit, a second sensor detecting unit, a vehicle status detecting unit, and a control unit. The control unit is switchable among a regular state, a start-stop enabling state, and an idling-stop state. The control unit switches into the start-stop enabling state from the regular state once the control unit determines that the first sensor and the second sensor are both triggered. The control unit further switches into the idling-stop state and controls the fuel supplying device to stop supplying fuel once the control unit determines that the vehicle status meets an idling-stop condition.
