摘要: The present invention is a chair or similar body-supporting apparatus for sitting on, reclining on or lying upon. The chair or similar apparatus is capable of transmitting sound and vibrations generated by a sound source and/or a vibration source to a user's body. The sound and vibrations are transmitted through speakers, transducers, or a combination thereof which are connected to the chair or similar apparatus. The transmitted sound and vibrations may include translated frequencies that are generated by a translation of higher frequencies that can mainly be heard to lower frequencies that can mainly be felt. The present invention is also a method of providing vibrational energy to a user, including regulating sound and vibrations transmitted through speakers, transducers, or a combination thereof which are connected to a chair or similar body-supporting apparatus.

摘要: A method for detecting an interferer signal in a duplex communication channel. The method comprises establishing a duplex communication channel for transmitting and receiving a signal having a plurality of frames each comprising an uplink (UL) and a downlink (DL) sub frames, allocating a plurality of silent slots in at least on of the UL and DL sub frames of at least some of the plurality of frames, intercepting at least one transmission signal during the plurality of silent slots, and detecting at least one interferer signal according to the at least one transmission signal.

摘要: Systems and methods for processing offline chat messages are provided. Offline chat messages may be merged in a conversation thread in an email message. In one embodiment, a method of processing messages includes receiving a chat message when a designated recipient is offline, generating an email message that includes the chat message, and enabling a designated recipient to access the email message through an email inbox associated with the designated recipient.

摘要: A CMOS image sensor (CIS) device includes an array of pixels, each pixel including a sensing element (e.g., a photodiode) and access circuitry. To facilitate the passage of light to the photodiode, each pixel includes a via wave guide (VWG) defined in the metallization layer formed over the pixel's photodiode. The VWG includes an upper light concentrator having a curved (e.g., parabolic) surface extending from a relatively wide upper opening to a relatively small lower opening. The VWG also includes a lower section extending between the lower opening of the light concentrator and the associated photodiode. A mirror coating is optionally formed on the surface of the VWG. An optional light-guiding material and/or color filter materials are disposed inside the VWG. An optional microlens is formed over the VWG.

摘要: Methods and systems for enabling communication of information in a secure communication system are disclosed herein and may comprise generating a notification when at least two Wi-Fi client stations and/or at least two Wi-Fi configurators (APs) attempt to register within a single configurator timing window. It may be detected whether the at least two Wi-Fi client stations and/or the at least two Wi-Fi configurators attempt to register within the single configurator timing window time duration. The notification may be generated in response to the detecting when the attempt occurs. Configuration information may be communicated to at least a first of the at least two Wi-Fi client stations and/or the at least two Wi-Fi configurators, prior to the generation of the notification. At least a portion of the configuration information may be changed over time.

摘要: Data is transmitted and received in a TDMA frequency hopping system by allocating two or more time slots for transmitting identical data packets, and transmitting the identical data packets in the allocated time slots at different frequencies. This requires the transmission of redundant information but reduces the likelihood of data loss. An adaptive scheme may be employed wherein more time slots are allocated for the repeated data transmissions in areas of poor reception while fewer time slots are allocated for the repeated data transmissions in areas of higher quality reception or when higher bandwidth is required.
