    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to nanoparticle delivery systems for delivering biological agents, pharmaceutical compositions of comprising these nanoparticles, and methods of using these compositions. Certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide nanoparticles comprising polymers comprising alternating charged and uncharged segments comprising one or more of the following structural units of Formula (I) Formula (III): wherein A is an uncharged segment comprising polyalkylene glycol; and B is a cationically charged segment comprising at least one polyhydroxy linkage.

    Abstract: Described herein are compositions having an eight-membered monocyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon, methods and system to separate the eight-membered monocyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon from a hydrocarbon mixture including additional nonlinear unsaturated C8H2m hydrocarbons with 4≤m≤8, by contacting the hydrocarbon mixture with a 10-ring pore molecular sieve having a sieving channel with a 10-ring sieving aperture with a minimum crystallographic free diameter greater than 3 Å and a ratio of the maximum crystallographic free diameter to the minimum crystallographic free diameter between 1 and 2, the molecular sieve having a T1/T2 ratio≥20:1 wherein T1 is an element independently selected from Si and Ge, and T2 is an element independently selected from Al, B and Ga, the 10-ring pore molecular sieve further having a counterion selected from NH4+, Li+, Na+, K+ and Ca++.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods of catalytically reducing carbon dioxide, each method comprising: contacting a composition comprising a spinel-type transition iron oxide with an alkali metal carbonate, bicarbonate, or mixture thereof at a first temperature to form CO, and an alkali metal ion-transition metal oxide; hydrolytically extracting at least a portion of alkali metal ions from the alkali metal ion-transition metal oxide by the reaction with CO2 and liquid H2O at a second temperature; and thermochemically reducing the transition metal composition of the second step at a third temperature, with the associated formation of O2.
