摘要: A catalyst for hydrodemetalization of heavy oil, especially residuum oil, and a process for preparing the same, wherein said catalyst comprises the metal elements of Groups VIII and/or VIB as active components supported on an alumina carrier having large pores. The total pore volume of said carrier is in the range of 0.80˜1.20 ml/g (by mercury porosimetry method), the specific surface area in the range of 110˜200 m2/g, the peak pore diameter in the range of 15˜20 nm, and the bulk density in the range of 0.50˜0.60 g/ml. In the process of the invention, a physical pore-enlarging agent and a chemical pore-enlarging agent are added simultaneously during the mixing of the pseudoboehmite to a plastic mass, then extruding, drying, calcining, the carrier is obtained, then impregnating with active components by spraying onto the carrier, after drying and calcining, the catalyst is obtained. The catalyst of the invention is suitable for the hydrodemetalization and/or hydrodesulfurization of heavy oil, particularly residuum oil.

摘要: An apparatus, product formulation, and method for improved dermal permeation of pharmaceuticals wherein the apparatus includes a thin drug formulation reservoir and a heat-generating chamber separated by a first non-permeable wall, wherein the reservoir and chamber are formed in or supported by a housing. The drug formulation reservoir houses or is capable of housing a predetermined amount of a formulation containing pharmaceutically-active agent(s). The heat-generating/temperature-regulating chamber includes a medium for generating controlled heat, preferably a chemical composition made of carbon, iron, water and/or salt which is activated upon contact with air (oxygen). The function of the heat-generating/temperature-regulating element is to heat the user's skin, rapidly bring the skin temperature to a desired and elevated narrow range and keep it in this range for sufficient time to obtain more rapid, enhanced and less variable dermal absorption of selected pharmaceutically-active agents and to obtain improved clinical effects. Structure for controlling the generation of heat is also disclosed. The apparatus may optionally include a spacing or standoff structure which spans the drug formulation reservoir between the non-permeable wall and the user's skin surface for maintaining a predetermined thickness of the drug formulation on the user's skin surface. Also, a novel product formulation which can be used with the apparatus which uses high percentage of eutectic mixture of local anesthetics to reduce the overall degradation rate of the local anesthetic compound(s) in formulations which are subject to hydrolysis.

摘要: A printing system and a printing method are provided. The user terminal includes a print content processing unit and a sliding print content conversion unit, and the handheld printer includes an inkjet printing unit that performs inkjet printing at a predetermined inkjet width in a sliding direction when performing sliding print. The print content processing unit determines the number of sliding print motions and sequentially generates bitmaps corresponding to the respective sliding print motions based on the respective print content mode and the inkjet width, and generates bitmap format instructions corresponding to the respective bitmaps. The sliding print content conversion unit converts pixels in the bitmaps into binary data to form sliding print content. The handheld printer sequentially prints the respective sliding print content based on the respective bitmap format instructions and the print content mode.

摘要: A method is provided for optimizing a contrast injection function for CT imaging. The method includes injecting, with an injector pump, a test bolus of a contrast agent into a subject. The method also includes computing, on a processor, an impulse enhancement function. The method also includes determining, on a processor, a target enhancement function for a region of interest. The method also includes determining, with a processor, a plurality of parameters for a functional form for a contrast injection function in a time domain. The method also includes determining for the contrast injection function a constraint. The method also includes determining, with a processor, particular values for the plurality of parameters, which satisfy the constraint and minimize a difference between a value of an enhancement function and the target enhancement function computed in the time domain at discrete time periods without use of a Fourier transform.
