For example, the vacuum arc vapor deposition apparatus includes a shield member moved to and away from a position between a vapor source and a holder for supporting the deposition target object, a drive device for locating the shield plate selectively in a shield position between the vapor source and the holder, and a retracted position shifted from the shield position, a detector (e.g., current detector) detecting turn-on/off of the vacuum arc discharge, and a control portion controlling the drive device to locate the shield plate in the shield position when the detector detects turn-off of the vacuum arc discharge, and to locate the shield plate in the retracted position when a time required for stabilizing the vacuum arc discharge elapses after the detector detected turn-on of the vacuum arc discharge.

The hybrid vehicle is operated in an engine-driven mode or a motor-driven mode, and recovers electric energy for driving an electric motor, using the output from the engine. The control system calculates a driving fuel consumption amount of the engine required for driving the hybrid vehicle in the engine-driven mode and a recovering fuel consumption amount of the engine required for recovering electric energy to be consumed when the hybrid vehicle is driven in the motor-driven mode, and sets the driven mode to the motor-driven mode when the recovering fuel consumption amount is smaller than the driving fuel consumption amount, and to the engine-driven mode when the former is larger than the latter.

摘要： An image filter circuit generates unsharp image signals to subject image signals to a dodging treatment which adjusts areas of exposure over an entire image within an image processing apparatus for image processing the image signals. The circuit includes an IIR type filter for carrying out a filtering treatment to generate the unsharp image signals. It further includes a FIFO type field memory for delaying image signals which are not subjected to the filtering treatment at the hR filter for a time corresponding to the delay time of image signals which have been subjected to the filtering treatment at the IIR type filter. The image filter circuit, which obtains the unsharp image signals corresponding to an unsharp mask for obtaining a dodging effect, can be made small in size with a simplified circuit arrangement.

摘要： A shared vehicle system includes a central facility, at least one vehicle distribution port facility and a plurality or fleet of vehicles, each having a vehicle subsystem. In general, the central station and port facility and the vehicle subsystems communicate in a manner to allow a user to enter information at a port facility. That information is then communicated to the central facility, where the information is processed to select a vehicle from the fleet to allocate to the user at the port facility. Selection of a vehicle for allocation to a user may be based on selecting an available or soon to be available vehicle according to various algorithms that take into account the vehicles state of charge. The central station also communicates with the port facility and the vehicle subsystem to notify the user of the selected vehicle, to provide secure user access to the selected vehicle, to monitor the location and operating status of vehicles in the fleet, to monitor the state of charge of electric vehicles and to provide other functions. The vehicles communicate with the central station to notify the central station of the PIN number of the individual attempting to use the vehicle, and of vehicle parameters such as state of charge and location of the vehicle.
