摘要： Apparatus for inserting square pins into a printed circuit board wherein during one stroke of a master cylinder, each square pin is cut by a movable cutter in combination with a fixed cutter from an elongated square pin-forming wire held in a chuck. The square pin is held by the movable cutter and then is moved over a guide member and then is further transferred into the guide member in accordance with the movement of a push rod moved by a main slider actuated by the master cylinder. The square pin is finally inserted into a printed circuit board by further movement of the push rod.

摘要： A steam reactor comprises a pressure shell having inlet and outlet nozzles for each of a process gas and a heating gas, a plurality of metal catalyst tubes packed with a catalyst and located substantially vertically within the pressure shell, one and of each of the catalyst tubes being connected to a pipe and the other end being communicated with the inlet nozzle of the process gas; and a riser pipe located substantially vertically within the pressure shell, one end of the riser pipe being connected to the pipes and the other end being terminated in the outlet nozzle of the process gas. A support member is provided on the pressure shell to support the catalyst tubes and the riser pipe. The plurality of pipes which connect the catalyst tubes and the riser pipe have a diameter which is smaller than that of the catalyst tubes and the riser pipe and a structure capable of taking up the difference in thermal expansion between the catalyst tubes and the riser pipe. The pressure shell may be insulated on a part or the whole of the inner surface thereof.

摘要： The object of the invention is to provide a separator for fuel cells which is of improved strength and corrosion resistance and facilitates the assembling of unit cells. The separator comprises an electrically conductive resin layer formed by electrodeposition in such a way as to cover a metal substrate and a gasket component. The resin layer contains an electrically conductive material. The separator of the invention has thus an enhanced corrosion resistance, makes some considerable improvements in the assembling work efficiency of unit cells, and makes sure higher strength because of the use of the metal substrate.

摘要： A puncture device is provided that does not allow an outer needle to collapse or rise at the time of puncture and exhibits small puncture resistance.A puncture device 1 includes: a hollow outer needle 2; an outer needle hub 3 provided at a proximal end portion of the outer needle 2; a hollow inner needle 4 inserted into the outer needle 2 for use; and an inner needle hub 5 provided at a proximal end portion of the inner needle 4. The inner needle 4 includes, from the distal side, a sharp needlepoint 41, a small diameter portion 42 having an almost uniform outer diameter; an intermediate portion 43 formed as a tapered portion which is progressively increased in outer diameter as it goes toward the proximal end; and a larger diameter portion 44 having inner and outer diameters larger than inner and outer diameters, respectively, of the small diameter portion 42. If the puncture device 1 is assembled, the needlepoint 41 is most projected from the distal opening 24 of the outer needle 2 and the proximal end of the small diameter portion 42 and the distal end of the large diameter portion 4 are located inside the outer needle 2. The inner diameter of the outer needle 2 at a portion L1 where the outer needle 2 covers the small diameter portion 42 of the inner needle 4 is smaller than the large diameter portion 44 of the inner needle 4.

摘要： A hemostatic device includes a flexible band adapted to be wrapped around a patient's limb at a site on the limb where bleeding is to be stopped, a portion for securing the band in a wrapped state to the limb, a curved plate which is made of a material more rigid than the band and at least a portion of which is curved toward the inner peripheral side thereof, a main balloon which is provided on the inner peripheral side of the curved plate and which inflates when a fluid is introduced therein, and a pressing member which is provided between the curved plate and the main balloon so that at least a portion thereof overlaps with the balloon and which is adapted for pressing against the balloon. The device provides an excellent hemostatic effect and prevents numbness and poor circulation in areas peripheral to the site of attachment.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a device (such as guidewire inserter) for easily and certainly inserting a medical long item having a curved tip into a tube such as catheter and sheath. The guidewire inserter is a tubular member having therein a bore for passage of a guidewire. The tubular member has a slit cutting across the wall thereof over the total length thereof. The tubular member has at the proximal end thereof an aperture, which results from the slit expanding toward the proximal end. The tubular member has at the proximal end of the aperture an open part and a connecting part adjacent thereto for the holder tube. There are a pair of wing-like protruded pieces projecting in the mutually opposite directions at both sides of the open part. The distal end of the tubular member has on its outer surface a pair of protruded rims, which project in the mutually opposite directions with respect to the central axis of the tubular member. When the distal end of the tubular member is connected by insertion into the bore at the proximal end of the tube, such as sheath, the protruded rims come into contact with the inside of the hub.
