Abstract:
Notifying a user about a previous conversation includes based on an analysis of the previous conversation between a first user and second user determining a characterization between the first user and the second user, in response to the first user selecting, via a user device, an option to open a subsequent conversation with the second user, notifying the first user via an alert as to the characterization of the previous conversation that the first user had with the second user before reengaging the second user in a subsequent conversation, and based on an analysis of the subsequent conversation between the first user and the second user, updating the characterization to a current characterization in a database.
Abstract:
The disclosed variable pressure touch system includes an information handling system (IHS) that may take many forms. In one embodiment, the IHS may be a tablet with a touch sensor in the form of a touch sensitive display. A user may apply pressure to the touch sensor with a finger, stylus, or other pointing device. The touch sensor may then generate a current pressure indication of the current pressure exhibited by the touch on the touch sensor. In one embodiment, a touch tool of the IHS may receive the current pressure indication and generate a display image on the display of the IHS that changes as the current pressure indication changes. In other embodiments, the touch tool of the IHS may receive the current pressure indication and generate a visual indicator on the display of the IHS that changes as the current pressure indication changes.
Abstract:
A system and computer program product for displaying data in a graphical overlay. The system overlays a first lens, including a first dataset, on a first region of the graphical overlay while a second lens, including a second dataset, overlaps the first lens. The first and second datasets are simultaneously displayed, and a correlation between the datasets is determined. Separation of the first and second lenses preserves a circumscribed region within each lens. The first dataset corresponds to first orientation position of the first lens. Rotation of the first lens to a second orientation position reconfigures the first dataset to provide a modified first dataset which corresponds to the second position. A rotational position may also be associated with points in time, a first position corresponding to a first point in time and the first dataset representing the first dataset at the first point in time.
Abstract:
A method, computer program product, and computer system for identifying attribute information of at least a first wearable associated with an outfit of a user. Information about an event may be received. An electronic message may be sent about whether at least a portion of the outfit is recommended for wearing at the event based upon, at least in part, the attribute information of at least the first wearable and the information about the event.
Abstract:
Technical solutions are described for a seller to bypass a spam filter. An example method includes sending, by a message preempting apparatus, for receipt by a server corresponding to the seller, a transaction identifier in response to a transaction between a user and the seller. The method also includes sending, by the message preempting apparatus, for receipt by a messaging server, the transaction identifier, where the messaging server, in response, bypasses a spam filter for a message that is associated with the transaction identifier.
Abstract:
A computer detects one or more images, wherein detecting the one or more images further includes identifying one or more characteristics of at least a portion of the one or more images. The computer detects one or more user communications. The computer determines one or more appropriate images of the one or more images to be associated with the one or more user communications based on comparing information associated with the one or more user communications with the identified one or more characteristics of at least a portion of the one or more images.

Abstract:
A system or computer usable program product for mapping infrastructure layout between non-corresponding datasets including accessing from a memory a set of long links with points that trace the curvature of a set of linestrings, accessing from the memory a set of short links that are short enough for analytical purposes wherein each short link represents a straight line, and from the set of long links and the set of short links, using a processor to create a set of hybrid links for storage in the memory, each hybrid link corresponding to one short link for analytic purposes, a plurality of the hybrid links including at least one of the points for tracing the curvature of the set of linestrings.
Abstract:
Generating recommendations for an individual based on a mood of the individual. Receiving information corresponding to one or more activities associated with an individual over a period of time. The received information corresponding to the one or more activities associated with the individual is processed to detect a mood of the individual. A recommendation is generated for the individual based on the detected mood of the individual and a future event associated with the individual. The future event has an occurrence at a later time instance.
Abstract:
A method, a system and a computer program product for visually navigating contextual semantic data in a graphical overlay. The method includes overlaying a first lens, corresponding to a first domain and oriented in a first position, on the graphical overlay. A set of semantic data is displayed within the first lens. Rotation of the first lens to a second position reconfigures the semantic data such that a modified set of semantic data is displayed within the first lens. The modified semantic data and a ghosted image of the set of semantic data may be simultaneously displayed. A rotational position of the first lens is associated with various context aspects. A second lens, corresponding to a second domain, fully overlaps the first lens. Responsive to separating the first and second lenses, a circumscribed region is preserved within each of the first and second lenses while concealing a non-circumscribed region.
