    摘要: An engine control device capable of decreasing engine output while giving less uncomfortable feeling to the rider in the event of a failure, with a simple configuration. Engine output is decreased when a failure has been detected in a throttle valve. When engine speed after the occurrence of the failure is larger than preset target rotational speed at the time of the occurrence of the failure, an ignition of the engine is cut off. The engine speed thereby can be decreased according to the preset target rotational speed. Thus, engine output can be decreased uniquely.

    摘要: A versatile plug which prevents signal and ground wires in pairs from being connected in reversed polarity; prevents short circuits occurring in adjacent lead wires; facilitates lead wire connecting operation; and which allows connection of lead wires of different types, has a pair of plug-side contact terminals contacted by a pair of apparatus-side terminals; a plug housing having an asymmetrical profile in conformity with a configuration of an apparatus-side connection recess; and a clamp detachably attached to each of the lead wires. By inserting the plug into the connection recess, the paired lead wires can be electrically connected to the paired apparatus-side terminals. Since the plug housing has an asymmetrical configuration, no reversed polarity connection occurs. A lead wire of any given thickness can be connected to the plug-side contact terminal by clamping with the clamp.

    摘要: A portable audio unit has a main unit, such as a CD player or tape recorder. The main unit is connected to a control unit by a cable. Audio and control signals are transmitted by the cable. The control unit has a connector for an earphone. Audio signals are transmitted by the cable from the main unit, to the control unit and to a connected earphone. Control signals are transmitted from the control unit to the main unit for controlling functions such as volume, power, tape-play, etc. The main unit has a built-in winder that stores and retrieves the cable. The control unit may be attached to the main unit when the cord is wound up and stored. With the control unit attached and the cable stored in side the main unit, the portable audio unit may still be operated by the control unit which forms a built-in control panel. With the cable extended, the control unit may be used as a remote control permitting the main unit to be placed in a handbag or pocket. In a portable audio unit having a separate remote control, a control panel is included in the main unit. The present invention avoids the need for the control panel because the control unit doubles as a control panel. Cost, size and complexity of the portable audio unit are thereby reduced.

    摘要: A fuel pump for a vehicle includes a brushless motor for operating this fuel pump, and a control circuit for the brushless motor is contained in the fuel pump. Difficulties such as a cutting of the wiring due to an electrolytic corrosion of electrically-conductive portions, and a short-circuiting thereof, are prevented. A pump portion, a motor portion and a discharge portion are provided in a housing of the fuel pump. The motor portion includes a rotor and a stator portion. The stator portion is molded by a resin material into a cylindrical shape with a closed bottom. The stator portion supports a shaft of the rotor. Stator coils are molded in a peripheral wall portion of the stator portion, and a container containing the control circuit is molded in the bottom wall portion of the stator portion. The stator coils, copper wires extending therefrom, and terminals from the control circuit are completely molded in the above resin material. With this arrangement, the stator coils, the control circuit, and the electrically-conductive portions extending between the control circuit and the stator coils are not exposed to the fuel at all, and therefore the above difficulties are prevented.
