    摘要: Mixtures of fluorescent whitening agents consisting of 51 to 99% by weight of a symmetrically or unsymmetrically substituted first 1,4-bis(cyanostyryl)benzene and 49 to 1% by weight of an unsymmetrically substituted second 1,4-bis(cyanostyryl)benzene that differs from the first, a process for the preparation of said mixtures by condensing terephthalaldehyde with a di(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4) alkylphosphonomethylbenzonitrile to cyano-4-formylstilbene, which is further condensed, either direct or after isolation, with at least one other di(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkylphosphonomethylbenzonitrile, the use of these mixtures for whitening polyester fibres, and compositions containing said mixtures for whitening polyester fibres.

    摘要: Novel diamines of the formula ##STR1## are described, in which R.sub.1 is C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, R.sub.2 is H or C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, R.sub.3 is C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, cycloalkyl having 4-12 ring C atoms, C.sub.7-8 -aralkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl or, if R.sub.4 =H, is also --CH.dbd.CH--alkyl or --C(alkyl).dbd.CH-- alkyl each having 1-4 C atoms in the alkyl groups, and R.sub.4 is H, C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, cycloalkyl having 4-12 ring C atoms, C.sub.7-8 -aralkyl or substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 and/or R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 together are C.sub.3-11 -alkylene. The diamines (I) are valuable intermediates and are suitable especially for the preparation of transparent crosslinkable polyamides.

    摘要: A new improved process for producing pyridinaldehydes and hydrazone derivatives thereof, for example, pyridinaldehyde-phenylhydrazones, is described. This comprises reacting an aminomethylpyridine with an aldehyde or a ketone to give a compound of the formula ##STR1## isomerizing the compound (III), in the presence of suitable catalysts, to a compound of the formula ##STR2## and converting the compound (V), in the presence of an acid and optionally in the presence of a hydrazine, into a pyridinaldehyde or a pyridinaldehyde-hydrazone. It is possible to produce by the process according to the invention pyridinaldehydes and pyridinaldehyde-hydrazones in a simple manner, under mild ecologically favorable conditions and in good to very good yields.

    摘要: There are described transparent polyamides, and processes for producing them, which polyamides consist of recurring structural elements of the formula I ##STR1## or of recurring structural elements of the formula II ##STR2## [carbonyl groups in the structural elements (II) bound in the 1,3- and/or 1,4-position to the benzene nucleus, R.sub.1 =C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, R.sub.2 =H, C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, R.sub.3 =C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, C.sub.4-12 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.7-8 -aralkyl, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, R.sub.4 =H, C.sub.1-12 -alkyl, C.sub.4-12 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.7-8 -aralkyl, or unsubstituted or substituted aryl, or R.sub.3 /R.sub.4 together=C.sub.3-11 -alkylene, R.sub.5 /R.sub.6 independently of one another=hydrogen or methyl, and R.sub.7 /R.sub.8 together=C.sub.3-11 -alkylene]. The polyamides according to the invention are suitable for producing transparent moulded articles of the widest variety, and are distinguished in particular by low water absorption, high stability to hydrolysis, and/or good dimensional stability under the action of moisture or humidity.
