摘要: An ink jet recording medium is disclosed, comprising a base having provided on one side thereof a recording layer having an ink receiving layer whose surface is smoother than plain paper's and on the other side thereof a coating layer comprising an aqueous binder containing 10 to 40% by weight of a higher fatty acid salt to a coating weight of 0.1 to 0.3 g/m.sup.2. An ink jet recording medium is also disclosed, comprising a base having provided on only one side thereof a recording layer, said recording layer having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.65 to 0.75 in mutual friction, the back surface of said base having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.15 to 0.25 in mutual friction, and the coefficient of static friction between said recording layer and said back surface is 0.55 to 0.65. The ink jet recording medium is prevented from being double-fed and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing high quality images. The ink jet recording layer is freed from feed trouble and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing images of high resolving power.

摘要: A printed board, on which a wiring pattern and a through hole to be inspected are provided, is scanned pixel by pixel and is read optically. The data obtained by scanning is converted into an electric signal to obtain image data. On the basis of the image data thus obtained, a pattern image representing the wiring pattern an a hole image representing the through hole are obtained. A center and a radius of the hole image are obtained from the image data. Then, a plurality of ring-shaped masks are obtained by magnifying the hole image at a plurality of magnifications. The size of the pattern image is normalized by the size of the hole image, and the, respective areas of overlapped regions between a plurality of the ringshaped masks and the pattern image are detected. Since these areas are obtained with an isotropic method, they do not depend on the directions of a line entering a land. By simulation, correspondence between the area of the overlapped regions and a relative positional relation between the wiring pattern and the through hole is obtained in advance. On the basis of this known correspondence, a relative positional relation between the wiring pattern and the through hole is evaluated by utilizing a neural network that has been taught such known correspondence.

摘要: In a defect detection apparatus, images of first to third inspection areas on a substrate are picked up to acquire first to third images. A positional difference acquisition part (51) acquires a first difference vector between the first image and the second image and a second difference vector between the second image and the third image. A differential image generation part (52) generates a first differential image between the first image and the second image while adjusting a position of the first image to the second image on the basis of the first difference vector and a second differential image between the second image and the third image while adjusting a position of the second image to the third image on the basis of the second difference vector. Then, a position of the second differential image is adjusted to the first differential image on the basis of the second difference vector and the second differential image after position adjustment and the first differential image are compared with each other, to detect a defect in a periodic pattern on the substrate with high accuracy.
