    摘要: In a successive rubbing treatment for providing a large number of substrates each having an alignment control layer with a uniaxial alignment axis for aligning a liquid crystal, a plurality of substrates are rubbed alternately with one or the other side of pile yarn planted on a rubbing cloth wound about a roller. A liquid crystal is disposed between a pair of substrates which are selected from the plurality of substrates thus treated by rubbing. By this process, a larger number of substrates can be imparted with a uniaxial alignment control power without causing a lowering in the alignment control power.

    摘要: In a motorcycle, the frame body has the shape of a single pipe over its whole length, and carries a front shield at its front portion, a floor at its intermediate portion, and a body cover at its rear portion, respectively. The front shield is formed of a one-piece member formed integrally with a head lamp housing, an auxiliary fender, leg shields, and foot rests. The body cover is formed of a one-piece member formed integrally with a plurality of continuous vertical walls which cooperatively enclose a space below the seat. The floor is joined at its opposite lateral edges to a pair of brackets mounted on the intermediate portion of the frame body at opposite lateral sides of the latter.

    摘要: The solid-state image sensor of the present invention includes an array of photosensitive cells, an array 100 of dispersing elements, and an array 300 of color filters. The photosensitive cell array 200 has a number of unit blocks 40, each of which includes photosensitive cells 2a and 2b. The dispersing element array 100 includes a dispersing element 1a, which makes all of incoming light (W) but a light ray falling within a first wavelength range incident on the first photosensitive cell 2a and which also makes at least a part of the light ray falling within the first wavelength range incident on the second photosensitive cell 2b. A color filter 3a that either absorbs or reflects the light ray falling within the first wavelength range is arranged between the photosensitive cell 2a and the dispersing element 1a.
