摘要: A highly fine organic electroluminescent device is provided. A method for manufacturing the organic electroluminescent device is provided for patterning a very fine light emitting layer, and a deposition mask is provided to be used in the patterning. For deposition of the light emitting layer, a mask member is provided with apertures (effective apertures) for forming the light emitting layer to be used for light emitting pixel and apertures (dummy apertures) not to be used for forming the light emitting pixel around an area (effective aperture area) separated by the outer edge of a group of the apertures. The light emitting layer is deposited by using the deposition mask.

摘要: A sample is processed while suppressing film deposition generated during plasma processing and fogging on a measurement window caused by etching to stably detect floating contaminants in a processing chamber with an improved contaminant capture rate. A particle detector is provided in the processing chamber, except for a space defined between electrodes of the plasma generator or a portion above the platform in which the plasma is generated. Laser light for scanning is emitted from the measurement window to the processing chamber, so that the particle detector detects scattered light from contaminants present in the processing chamber. The particle detector detects contaminants based on the detected scattered light during operation of the processing apparatus.

摘要: There is provided a conveyor chain for use in a three-dimensional conveyor line, in which a plurality of chain links each with a top plate provided on a link body thereof are connected endlessly to each other by shaft pins for three-dimensional conveyance of products, a projecting head portion of a rearward one of two adjacent chain links is disposed between a pair of leg portions of a frontward adjacent link, a shaft pin is penetrated through the projecting head portion so that the rearward chain link can freely be pivoted vertically and horizontally about the shaft pin, the top plate includes a front plate portion and rear plate portion, each portion formed defining its boundary as a semicircular line whose center is laid nearly at the center of the projecting head portion, the rear plate portion is integral with the rear upper portion of the link body while the front plate portion is disposed on the front upper portion of the link body, a bearing block is received in a bearing space, the bearing block is engaged on the shaft pin so that the rear plate portion can be pivoted horizontally in relation to the front plate portion. Since there takes place no gap between the front edge of the rear plate portion and rear edge of the front plate portion, the conveyor chain thus constructed can convey products more stably without thrust-up, stalling or overturn of them.

摘要: A window member (11) having an intentionally designed distribution of refractive index is used, as a transparent window member in a light transmission area of a polishing pad for detecting the end point of polishing by a CMP method. This window member (11) has areas (11a) having a high refractive index and areas (11b) having a low refractive index in its window face. In a cross section normal to the window face, the high-refractive index areas (11a) and the low-refractive index areas (11b) are alternately arranged in stripes. These areas (11a and 11b) in the window face are in a Fresnel zone plate arrangement in which the first area (center circle) is a bright one (area having a high refractive index). A plurality of such Fresnel zone plates (F) are arrayed in a matrix in the window face of the window member (11).

摘要: An automotive window molding attached onto a circumference of a window glass and arranged at a pillar side of a vehicle body, includes an outside glass abutting portion being in contact with an outside surface of the window glass, an outside ornamental head portion arranged outside of the outside glass abutting portion and spaced apart from the outside glass abutting portion so that the outside ornamental head portion and the outside glass abutting portion are opposed to each other, and a connecting wall portion interconnecting the outside ornamental head portion and the outside glass abutting portion. A drip groove is defined by the outside glass abutting portion, the outside ornamental head portion, and the connecting wall portion, so that the drip groove is opened toward inside of the perimeter of the window glass. In order to allow snow to impinge and break on a tip of the outside glass abutting portion by wiping action of a wiper blade during vehicle driving in the snow, a tip portion of the outside glass abutting portion is configured to protrude toward inside of the perimeter of the window glass more than a tip portion of the outside ornamental head portion protrudes toward inside of the perimeter of the window glass.
