Abstract:
Disclosed are a main amplifier and a semiconductor device employing the main amplifier. The main amplifier is arranged between a plurality of pairs of local input/output lines and a global input/output line. The main amplifier comprises a main amplifier pre-charge unit for pre-charging the main amplifier in response to inputted pre-charge control signals; an input/output sense amplifier enabled by enable signals for sensing a first data signal transmitted from the plurality of pairs of input/output lines of a plurality of memory banks, amplifying the sensed first data signal, and outputting the amplified first data signal as a second data signal of a first potential level; and an input/output driver for pull-down or pull-up driving the global input/output line in response to the second data signal from the input/output sense amplifier. The main amplifier is connected in common to the plurality of pairs of local input/output lines for taking charge of the plurality of memory banks.
Abstract:
The distributed bubble generating system intakes air and delivers this air at maximum capacity to the solution in the long-channel shape bubble generating units. The air is blown through the firm sponge type filters of the bubble generating units, which are submerged in the solution. This configuration provides the capability of rapid and effective generation of bubbles.
Abstract:
A fuel injector with various embodiments of a annular damper member that reduces noise generated between a valve group subassembly and a power group subassembly during operation of the fuel injector. A mass annular damper member is also shown and described. A method of reducing sound in the valve group subassembly is also disclosed.

Abstract:
A fluid status monitoring system for use in implantable cardiac stimulation or monitoring devices is provided for monitoring changes in thoracic fluid content. A fluid status monitor includes excitation pulse generating and control circuitry, and voltage and current measurement and control circuitry for performing a series of cardiac-gated, intra-thoracic impedance measurements. The cardiac-gated measurements are filtered or time-averaged to provide a fluid status impedance value, with respiratory noise removed. Based on comparative analysis of the fluid status impedance value, a clinically relevant trend in fluid status may be tentatively diagnosed and a fluid status response provided. Cross-check intra-thoracic impedance measurements performed using the same or a different excitation pathway and a different measurement pathway than the primary intra-thoracic impedance measurement configuration may be used to verify a tentative diagnosis.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a synthesis of an 8-membered carbocyclic compound having diexomethylene groups, more particularly to a synthesis of an 8-membered carbocyclic compound having diexomethylene groups, a novel compound having the structure represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, from trimethylsilanylmethyl-allenol derivative by the intramolecular Prins cyclization using Lewis acid. The 8-membered carbocyclic compound is a useful intermediate for synthesis of other multicarbocyclic compounds. In Chemical Formula 1, R1 is a phenyl group, and R2 and R3 is a hydrogen atom, or R1, R2 and R3 may be connected with neighboring substituents to form a 5 to 10-membered aliphatic or aromatic ring.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an alkali-containing magnesium borosilicate glass composition comprising, in mole %, 10-25% SiO2, 10-25% B2O3, 5-10% BaO, 40-65% MgO, 0.5-3% ZrO2, 0.3-3% P2O5, and 0.2-5% M2O where M is selected from the group of alkali elements and mixtures thereof. The invention is further directed to a castable dielectric composition comprising a dispersion of finely divided solids comprising, based on solids: (a) 50-90 wt. % the glass composition as described above; (b) 10-50 wt. % ceramic filler; both dispersed in a solution of (c) an organic polymeric binder; and (d) a volatile organic solvent. The invention is still further directed to the castable dielectric composition described above used in a method of forming a high TCE LTCC green tape by casting a thin layer of the castable dispersion onto a flexible substrate and heating the cast layer to remove the volatile organic.
Abstract:
Custom operations are useable in processor systems for performing functions including multimedia functions. These custom operations enhance a system, such as PC system, to provide real-time multimedia capabilities while maintaining advantages of a special-purpose, embedded solution, i.e., low cost and chip count, and advantages of a general-purpose processor reprogramability. These custom operations work in a computer system which supplies input data having operand data, performs operations on the operand data, and supplies result data to a destination register. Operations performed may include audio and video processing including clipping or saturation operations. The present invention also performs parallel operations on select operand data from input registers and stores results in the destination register.
