    摘要: A quick connect tool is configured to connect male and female ends of a quick connect fuel or oil connector of an automobile. The tool includes a pair of handles pivotally coupled to each other. The tool also includes a pair of arms having pockets configured to receive respective ends of a fuel-line coupling, the arms coupled to the handles via a linkage such that pivotal movement of the handles causes linear movement of the arms to force the ends into engagement. A sensor is configured to output a signal in response to the linear movement exceeding a threshold, indicating that the arms have translated linearly enough to cause a correct and sufficient fitting between the male and female ends.

    摘要: A high-pressure fuel supply pump in which a relief valve mechanism is not detached by a force generated by a differential pressure between an inlet side and an output side of a relief valve mechanism is obtained. According to the present invention, in order to obtain the high-pressure fuel supply pump, the relief valve mechanism of the high-pressure fuel supply pump is oriented from a downstream side of a discharge valve to an upstream side of the discharge valve, and the output side of the relief valve mechanism is inserted from the upstream side of the discharge valve into the pump housing, and the relief valve mechanism is fixed with press fitting. Therefore, a force exerted by the differential pressure between the inlet side pressure and the output side pressure of the relief valve mechanism is exerted in a direction in which the relief valve mechanism is inserted, so that the relief valve mechanism can be prevented from being detached.

    摘要: A fuel injector may include a housing, a poppet valve assembly, and an actuation assembly. The housing may define a longitudinal bore, a high pressure fuel duct in communication with the longitudinal bore and a valve seat including a valve seat surface and an aperture. The poppet valve assembly may include a stem and a valve head, be disposed within the longitudinal bore and be variably displaceable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the valve head may abut the valve seat to seal the aperture. In the second position, the valve head may be displaced from the valve seat to open the aperture. The actuation assembly may operate to move the poppet valve assembly between the first position and the second position. The high pressure fuel duct may carry pressurized fuel that biases the poppet valve assembly to be in the first position.

    摘要: A fuel injection device includes a cylinder defining a pressure chamber at an end portion of a nozzle needle. In the cylinder, a floating plate is provided as a controlling member of fuel pressure. An orifice member and a nozzle body are lined by an annular positioning member, using a circular peripheral surface of the orifice member and a circular peripheral surface of the nozzle body as a reference surface. Thereby, radial locations of the nozzle body and the orifice member are defined. Furthermore, a location of the floating plate is defined by the nozzle body with the nozzle needle. Therefore, the floating plate can be located to a proper location relative to the orifice member.

    摘要: A hoop filter is adapted to protect a pressure control orifice plate in a common rail fuel injector from being plugged by contaminated fuel. Shaped in the form of a band, the filter is configured to engage the circumference of a pressure control orifice plate. For purposes of filtration, the orifice plate has a circumferential groove which intersects at least one internal orifice; the groove is externally covered by the body of the hoop filter. In one embodiment, the band-shaped hoop filter has small apertures adapted to filter out any particle having a size greater than 50 microns. In another disclosed embodiment, the hoop filter is a solid band-shaped edge filter without any apertures; instead the orifice plate periphery includes circumferentially spaced vertical grooves which interface with the bottom and top edges of the filter to restrict entry of contaminant particles.
