    摘要: A method of making a fluid impervious seam in a multilaminate fluid impervious medical fabric is disclosed. The multilaminate fluid impervious medical fabric includes at least two layers having different melting points, at least one of the layers is comprised of a fluid impervious material. The method includes overlapping two portions of the multilaminate fluid impervious medical fabric to form an overlapped region wherein the two layers having the innermost position in apposition to one another have a lower melting point relative to the melting point of the fluid impervious material layer. The two portions of multilaminate fluid impervious medical fabric are heat sealed together at the overlap at a temperature which is equal to or greater than the melting point of the innermost identical layers and which temperature is less than the melting point of the fluid impervious material layer. Thus, an integrated fused layer is created from the two layers having the innermost position in apposition to one another, while the fluid impervious material layer remains unmelted. A surgical product made in accordance with this method is disclosed.

At least one section of the garment is lined internally by a lining made with cloth and including a foam sheet extending in the lining, the cloth of the lining being bonded at least on its periphery to the woven section of the external cloth in bonding zones, the foam sheet being arranged substantially free between the cloth of the lining and the external cloth, the foam sheet being integral with the external cloth and/or with the cloth of the lining at least towards its upper section in order to be held and not to fall in the lining. The garment can be a vest, a pair of trousers or an apron.

    摘要: An invention describes a drapable IR-reflecting material for garments. The IR-reflecting material comprises a water-vapor-permeable metallized ply supporting an air-permeable drapable convective ply having a three-dimensionally transmissive structure. The outer surface of the convective ply, said outer surface being opposite to the metallized ply, is formed by an air-permeable sheetlike structure. The convective ply causes heat convection of temperatures reflected by the metallized ply in order that the outer surface of the convective ply may be brought into line with the ambient temperature.

    摘要: The composite nonwoven fabric for protective clothing of the present invention comprises (A) a water vapor-permeable, water-resistant nonwoven fabric made of polyolefin-based ultra-fine fibers having an average fiber diameter of 5 μm or less, (B) a heat-bonding nonwoven fabric made of thermoplastic elastomer ultra-fine fibers, and (C) a porous fabric. The nonwoven fabric B is interposed between the nonwoven fabric A and the porous fabric C, and the fabrics A, B and C being integrally bonded to each other. The composite nonwoven fabric is suitable for a protective clothing because it is water vapor-permeable and water-resistant on its outer side to be exposed to outside air, and is of high strength, sweat-absorbable and antistatic on its inner side, and also well-balanced in these properties.
