摘要： The present invention relates to a device and a method of using the same for purification and recycling of pollutant gases. The device is a tool to minimize and limit the impact of toxic gases emitted by cars' exhaust systems. The way this device works, makes it possible for the emitted gases, after the fuel combustion, through the exhaust system, to react with a strong alkaline fluid (calcium hydroxide). The result of this reaction is gases friendly to the environment, and natural precipitated components that can be very useful byproducts.

摘要： A thermoelectric element of a vehicle exhaust system is provided, which achieves maximum generation efficiency without exceeding an endurance limit thereof. The thermoelectric element includes a thermoelectric module and a heat dissipation plate. Arrangement of the heat dissipation plate directly exposes one side to the exhaust system and the opposite side contacts the thermoelectric module. Furthermore, the thermoelectric element includes a cooling unit having interior cooling channels and disposed on the other side of the thermoelectric module.

摘要： An exhaust gas heat recovery system for a vehicle is configured to selectively distribute a fluid heated by engine exhaust to a first path for generating electricity and a second path for heating one or more powertrain components of the vehicle. A controller selects a distribution of the fluid to the first and second paths based on minimizing a fuel consumption of an engine. The controller further selects a distribution of fluid to the powertrain components to minimize fuel consumption. The controller distributes the fluid according to the selected distribution.

摘要： A system for separating carbon dioxide gas from internal combustion engine exhaust and an electricity generating heat exchanger for the system. The system includes a scrubber tank containing a carbon dioxide absorbent fluid and configured to bubble exhaust gas from the heat exchanger through the carbon dioxide absorbent fluid, whereby carbon dioxide gas is absorbed by the carbon dioxide absorbent fluid. A carbon dioxide storage means stores the carbon dioxide released in a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger cools the exhaust gas emitted by the internal combustion engine, and includes a thermal electric generator (TEG) configured to couple thermally the exhaust gas chamber to the absorber fluid chamber in a manner effective to heat the CO2 absorbent fluid by heat from the engine exhaust to release CO2 gas from the CO2 absorbent fluid and generate electricity in response to a temperature difference therebetween.
