    摘要: A device is provided for regulating the flow of fluid from a source and may be used with an air filter of the type found in clean rooms and the like. The device includes an impeder, movably mounted proximate to the input, for variably impeding fluid flowing from the source, and a movably mounted piston having a distal face, exposed to a reference pressure, such as the pressure of the clean room, and a frontal face, exposed to fluid downstream from the impeder. The impeder and the piston are attached to each other, so that an increase in pressure on the distal face of the piston tends to lessen the impedance on the fluid flow, and an increase in pressure on the frontal face of the piston tends to increase the impedance on the fluid flow. A force is exerted on the impeder and the piston so as to tend to cause the impeder to lessen the impedance on the fluid flow; this force may be the weight of the impeder and the piston, as well as any member that connects them.

    摘要: A multi-position pressure relief valve settable to operate at different pressure limits includes an adjustment rod, a valve bias spring and a valve member extending coaxially with one another, the axial spacing between the rod and the valve member determining the pressure limit for the valve. The rod carries a pin adapted to engage a stepped surface of a limit select member, the steps defining a plurality of stop positions for the rod, and each stop position corresponding to a different pressure limit setting. A control knob attached to the rod enables the rod to be manipulated to locate the pin in the stop position corresponding to the pressure limit desired.

    摘要: Multidirectional vent limiting devices for use with fluid regulators are described. In some examples, a vent limiting device includes a housing having an interior surface, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a first fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The interior surface includes a first sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway. In some examples, the vent limiting device further includes a stem and a poppet. In some examples, the stem is rigidly coupled to the interior surface of the housing. In some examples, the poppet includes a second sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway, and a radial bore that defines a second fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. In some examples, the poppet is slidable along the stem between an open position and a closed position. In some examples, the second sealing surface contacts the first sealing surface when the poppet is in the closed position to close off the first fluid passageway.

A fluid regulator having the actuator is provided. By means of the actuator, the technical problem that a valve rod, a valve flap and a valve port are deformed and even damaged due to extremely large stress in the regulator is solved, the valve rod, the valve flap and the valve port of a valve element assembly are buffered to a certain extent when bearing extremely large stress, and therefore damage is avoided.
