    Abstract: An engagement structure includes a block that has first and second side surfaces, and that holds an electronic component; a cover that has first inner wall surfaces facing the first side surfaces and second inner wall surfaces facing the second side surfaces; an engagement mechanism that includes a projecting engagement portion provided on either one of the first side surface and corresponding first inner wall surface and an recessed engagement portion provided in the other thereof; and a projection that is provided on one surface of the second side surface and corresponding second inner wall surface, and that is in contact with the other surface thereof to press the other surface so as to restrain the first side surfaces and the first inner wall surfaces from relatively moving in directions separating from each other in an engaged state of the engagement mechanism.

    Abstract: A cover structure for an electronic apparatus is disclosed. The cover structure includes a bezel, a first bracket and a first handle. The bezel includes two long sides, a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The first bracket is fixed on the first lateral side and includes a first protruding portion. The first handle moveably combines with the bezel, and the first handle is moved substantially parallel to each long side of the bezel. The first handle includes a first recess and at least one first fixed portion, and the first protruding portion is disposed in the first recess. The at least one first fixed portion is used for combining with a housing of the electronic apparatus.

    Abstract: An electronics module includes a latch with a first latch portion and a second latch portion. The latch portions move between a latched position and an unlatched position. A spring is located between the first and second latch portions and biases the first and second latch portions in first and second directions. The first latch portion comprises an actuation portion located externally from the housing and that is adapted to be manually engaged and moved linearly in the second direction to move the first latch portion from its latched position toward its unlatched position. The second latch portion includes a resilient tail with a locator tab that seats in either a first receiving location or a second receiving location of the first latch portion and that is selectively deflectable to disengage the locator tab from the second receiving location so that the spring moves the latch to the latched configuration.

    Abstract: A field replaceable power supply cartridge is provided for coupling with a socket. The cartridge has a latch mechanism that can be actuated by the user to couple the cartridge to the socket, such that latches of the cartridge releasably engage recessed portions in the socket. The cartridge has a key feature that corresponds to a key feature on the socket, allowing the cartridge to be coupled to the socket in only one orientation, thereby preventing the incorrect electrical connection between the cartridge and the socket. The cartridge can have a multi-pin electrical connector for coupling to a corresponding connector on the socket. The socket can be a relatively short socket, where the electrical wires are bottom fed, or can be a relatively tall socket, where the electrical wires are side fed via one or more openings in the body of the socket.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery pack including a housing, a latch mechanism, a printed circuit board connected to electrical terminals, and an internal frame. The housing includes a first and second portion. The first portion includes openings that receive the latch mechanism and openings that receive the terminals. The battery pack also includes a latch cover that protects against water infiltrating between the openings and the latch mechanism, and a terminal cover that protects against water infiltrating between the first housing portion and the terminals. Water that enters the battery pack is directed to the bottom of the battery pack. The water is then drained through openings in the lower housing portion. The internal frame includes openings that secure batteries within the lower housing portion with the help of wedges that are positioned in between adjacent rows of batteries.
