    摘要: A mobile high voltage network supplies electrical consumer units connected via a plug-in connector and can be switched on and off by means of mechanical switches, with a fuse responding in the event of a short circuit. The high voltage network carries a direct voltage and to each electrical consumer unit (8; 10) a separate diagnostic and protection monitoring system is assigned which is activated when it is switched on and/or off. Such a direct voltage and high voltage network in conjunction with the diagnostic and protection monitoring system makes it possible, before starting up any circuit of consumer units, to effect a self-diagnosis of the protection monitoring system, to ensure that all components are fully functional. Without this, self-diagnosis with proof of functionality the relevant circuit of consumer units is not switched on.

    摘要: A warning plate assembly for indicating the excess width of a tractor, in particular an agricultural tractor. The assembly comprises a holder having a fixing part (1) attached to the vehicle and a deployable arm (3) carrying the warning plate (9). The deployable arm (3) is swivellable about a vertical swivel axis (2a) of the fixing part between a lockable deployed position, in which the deployable arm and the warning plate are disposed transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a lockable retracted position in which the deployable arm is disposed substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The length of the deployable arm (3) is adjustable (6,7) to cater for different widths of vehicle. The warning plate may be in two halves (10,11) hinged about a vertical axis so that the halves can be folded one over the over for storage.

    摘要: A drive for a cooling fan at motor vehicles including a main cooling circuit and at least one secondary cooling circuit using a fluid friction clutch including a control element for the drive of the cooling fan is described.In case of a plurality of cooling circuits, such fluid friction clutches do not react as desired by actuating the cooling fan.To prevent this disadvantage, a drive for a cooling fan being drivable by a fluid friction clutch is to be provided, in which the cooling fan starts operation as soon as there is a requirement in at least one of the cooling circuits.For this reason, temperature sensors are allocated to selected secondary cooling circuits and further control element is allocated to the working chamber to bypass the control element, the control element freeing a further opening being located in the separating wall when predetermined temperatures and temperature ranges, respectively, are attained in at least one of the selected secondary cooling circuits, the opening not being influenced by the control element.

The invention provides a means of automatically disengaging the brake to permit rotation of the output shaft for the purpose of coupling an implement thereto. In one embodiment, the clutch and brake are engaged by fluid under pressure, and are disengaged by stopping the vehicle engine and thus allowing engine generated fluid pressure to decay.

    摘要: A transmission coupling assembly for absorbing axial and/or angular displacement between an internal combustion engine and a downstream gear train comprises a resilient vibration damper (3;24) secured to the flywheel (1;26). A coupling member (4;23) secured to the vibration damper is rotationally coupled to a coupling shaft (7;21) by means of interlocking splines, the splines (4a) of the coupling member being substantially straight and the splines (5a) of the coupling shaft being crowned or spherically curved. At the other end of the coupling shaft (7;21) a similar splined connection is made to the input shaft (8) of the downstream gear train. Lubrication is provided at the splined connection between the coupling shaft and the input shaft of the gear train, with a Z-cross section seal extending between the coupling shaft and the gearbox casing to prevent leakage of lubricant fluid.

A group of control members consisting of a plurality of switches or buttons and a manually-operated lever are provided to minimize fatigue when the vehicle driver is seated for a long period of time. A hand support is also included near the control members to support the palm of the vehicle driver's hand. The switches or buttons and lever are arranged so that the switches or buttons can be reached and operated comfortably with the outstretched fingers and the switching lever is located between the thumb and index finger, while the hand is resting on the hand support.

    摘要: A method of applying substances to a land begins with inputting data indicative of the substance requirement for the land into a processor. The land is traversed with a vehicle having an engine and a transmission that can vary the vehicle speed without adjusting the engine speed. The vehicle has an appliance including a mechanism for applying the substance to the land. The appliance application rate is input into the processor with the desired engine speed. The land is traversed with the vehicle with the engine speed set at the desired engine speed. The vehicle position is established, and a signal is generated to indicate a requirement for adjustment to the transmission to change the vehicle speed to match the individual section requirement to the appliance application rate. Lastly, the transmission is adjusted according to the signal generated by the processor.

    摘要: A hydraulic system for a power-take-off in a utility vehicle is described, having a pump (8) supplying hydraulic fluid to the clutch (1), the brake (2) and a lubricating circuit, a control valve for engaging and releasing the clutch and a device containing a pressure-limiting valve (12) which makes a high system pressure available when the clutch is engaged and a lower system pressure when the clutch is released.In order to keep loss of power in the pump as low as possible and reduce the number of components required in a hydraulic system of this type, the system pressures are controlled by the pressure applied to the engaged clutch. Consequently, the system pressures can be adjusted regardless of the design of control valve used. This means that less expensive 3/2-way valves or 3/2-control valves can be used. This also has an advantage in that different system pressures can be produced using a single pressure-limiting valve. The hydraulic system is suitable for all types of utility vehicle with a power-take-off.
