摘要: The present invention provides a mixture comprising: a) a first liquid composition comprising a culture of microalgae, the microalgae comprising whole pasteurized Chlorella cells; and b) a second liquid composition comprising a culture of microalgae, the microalgae comprising lysed pasteurized Chlorella cells; wherein a combination of the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition exhibits synergy. Also provided is a method of treating a plant, a plant part, or the locus surrounding the plant to enhance plant growth, the method comprising applying an effective amount of the mixture.

摘要: Compositions and methods for indirectly reducing incidence of fungal pathogen infection in a plant are disclosed, wherein the fungal pathogen may be Botrytis, Macrophomina, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, or Verticillium. The compositions comprise pasteurized microalgae cells in an amount effective to reduce incidence of the fungal pathogen in a plant compared to a substantially identical population of untreated plants. The composition treatment can include at least one microalgae such as Aurantiochytrium, Galdieria, Scenedesmus, Haematococcus, Isochrysis, Spirulina or any combination thereof.

Embodiments of the system include features such as lit portions, dark portions, organic carbon delivery systems, gas delivery systems, submersible thrusters for mixing, and turning vanes for guiding fluid flow. 摘要: Methods of treating contamination, particularly bacterial contamination, in an open culture of microalgae with organic carbon are described herein. The methods comprise reducing the pH of a culture for a period of time and then raising the pH of the culture, wherein the culture comprises the presence of a first acid and the culture is contacted with a second acid to reduce the culture pH from a first pH value to a second pH value. The culture is maintained at the second pH value for at least 5 minutes before the culture pH is raised from the second pH value by contact with a base.
