A posture of the other cylindrical members may be corrected by the cylindrical member having the support portion.

    摘要: A control valve for controlling displacement of a variable displacement compressor having a suction chamber, a discharge chamber, a control chamber, and a pressurizing passage. The control valve adjusts the amount of refrigerant sent to the control chamber from the discharge chamber to control the compressor displacement. The control valve includes a valve body for adjusting the opened area of the pressurizing passage. A solenoid urges the valve body in a first direction with a force corresponding to the value of the current fed to the solenoid. A first and second pressure chamber are partitioned by a diaphragm in the valve. A target value of the pressure difference between the first and second pressure chambers is determined by the urging force of the solenoid. For a given constant solenoid current, the compressor seeks the target value that corresponds to that current. The solenoid requires only a relatively small current range, even if carbon dioxide is used as the refrigerant. Also, the valve minimizes the compressor displacement when it receives no current.

A first AND gate feeds as a second reset signal an AND-operation result between the Q-output of the flip-flop circuit and the first reset signal to the reset terminal of the flip-flop circuit and the negative logic input terminal of a second AND gate. The second AND gate feeds the set pulse to the set terminal of the flip-flop circuit according to the second reset signal.

    摘要: A viscous fluid type supplementary heat generator having a housing assembly defining a fluid containing chamber including a hermetically sealed heat generating chamber in which a viscous fluid is filled to generate heat when the viscous fluid is subjected to shearing action applied by the rotation of a rotor element rotatably arranged in the heat generating chamber. The fluid containing chamber has a predetermined substantial volume with respect to which the volume of the viscous fluid filled in the fluid containing chamber is set at a value between 50% through 70%, i.e., the filling rate of the viscous fluid relative to the substantial volume of the fluid containing chamber of the viscous fluid type heat generator is determined to be a value between 0.5 through 0.7. The determination of the filling rate of the viscous fluid is made so as to protect an oil sealing device sealing the heat generating chamber from being damaged or broken by an excessive pressure prevailing in the heat generating chamber.

    摘要: A piston for use in a compressor that compresses gas containing lubricating oil is disclosed. The compressor has a crank chamber and cylinder bores for accommodating the pistons. A swash plate is located in the crank chamber and is supported on a drive shaft for integrally rotating with the drive shaft. The swash plate is operably connected to the pistons by shoes to convert the rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocation of each piston. Each piston has a head for compressing the gas supplied to the cylinder bore and a skirt projecting from the head toward the crank chamber. The skirt has a slot for receiving the swash plate by means of the shoes. A rib is formed on an inner wall of the slot and extends parallel to the axis of the piston. When the swash plate rotates, swirling gas in the crank chamber collides against the rib. When the gas collides against the rib, the oil contained in the gas separates from the gas and is guided to the shoes.

    摘要: A compressor housing and method of manufacture and assembly are disclosed. The compressor housing includes a cylinder block and a front housing. An annular projection is formed on the front end of the cylinder block. An annular groove is formed on the rear end of the front housing. The cylinder block and the front housing are secured to each other to prevent the front housing from being displaced in relation to the cylinder block by engaging the annular projection with the annular groove. A gasket is located between the front end of the cylinder block and the rear end of the front housing secured to each other to seal between the cylinder block and the front housing. This compressor and its method of manufacture reduce the amount of misalignment between a shaft bore in the cylinder block and a shaft bore in the front housing, which improves the performance of the compressor.
