    摘要: A filter element is mountable to a mast of a filter system having a threaded rod at a distal end thereof. The filter element includes cylindrical filter media, first and second end caps, and a seal washer. The media circumscribes a central axis. The first end cap is a first annular end cap and has a central opening configured for receiving the mast therethrough. The second end cap includes a seal washer opening defining a seal washer opening center that is located either concentric or non-concentric to the central axis of the media. The central opening of the first end cap is larger in dimension than the seal washer opening. The seal washer is receivable within the seal washer opening in at least a first orientation relative to the seal washer opening center. In the first orientation, a rod hole of the seal washer is non-concentric to the central axis.

    摘要: An electronic modulating valve for a refrigerant system including a valve body; an electrically actuated valve member mounted in the valve body for modulating flow of fluid through the valve body; an electric power element having at least a portion of an electric actuator; and an electronic controller operably connected to the actuator, in which the actuator is operably connected to the valve member to control movement of the valve member in response to commands from the controller. The valve may include a probe configured to sense a mechanical vibration in the system and/or a refrigerant leak sensor. The controller receives information from the probe and/or leak sensor and controls movement of the valve member via the actuator in response to the information. The controller may be configured with a closed-loop logic architecture to control movement of the valve member via the electric actuator.

    摘要: A filter element including a canister, media, and a spinning disc element is provided. The canister circumscribes a central axis. A tap plate is at an end of the canister having a central threaded opening along the central axis of the canister. The tap plate includes a first outer opening radially spaced between the central opening and a periphery of the tap plate. The disc element is supported for rotation on the tap plate. A first keyed protrusion projects outwardly from the disc element. The keyed protrusion defines a first flow opening. The spinning disc element is rotatable about the central axis. The first outer opening is in fluid communication with the first opening of the first keyed protrusion such that fluid can into or out of the canister. Filter systems including a filter head to which the filter element may be mounted are also provided.

    摘要: A metal seal for a flat face fluid coupling includes an annular seal body and a retainer having a fixed end fixed to the seal body, a free end spaced from the seal body, and an intermediate portion extending between the free end and the fixed end. The retainer is configured to engage a wall of the fluid coupling with a retaining force for securing the seal to the fluid coupling. The seal body has opposite first and second flat annular sealing surfaces, and a radially outer annular angled portion that is inclined relative to the annular sealing surface. The angled portion is configured to enhance stiffness around a circumference of the seal body, and is configured to engage a face of the fluid coupling to generate a moment of force about the retainer for enhancing the retaining force acting against the wall of the fluid coupling.
