摘要: A light irradiation device for an exposure apparatus allowing implementation of photo-alignment process with a simple configuration is provided. The light irradiation device is configured using a light source with a plurality of LEDs, and a polarizing element that receives light from the light source and applies the light transmitted through the polarizing element to a workpiece. An optical axis of each of the LEDs is set in such a manner as to have a first angle θ1 to the workpiece. A second angle θ2 as an angle half of a light distribution angle of the light emitted from each of the LEDs is set smaller than the first angle θ1.

摘要: A broadband light-emitting device is composed of a substrate, a solid light source that is installed on a front face of the substrate and emits light at an upper face thereof, a near-infrared fluorescent material disposed in direct contact with the front face of the substrate in the vicinity of the solid light source, and a visible light fluorescent material disposed on a region ranging from the upper face of the solid light source to an upper face of the near-infrared fluorescent material. Besides, the near-infrared fluorescent material contains fluorescent particles exhibiting fluorescence in a near-infrared wavelength band with a peak wavelength of 700 nm and a wavelength width at half maximum of 100 nm or greater.

摘要: The laser irradiation device irradiates a laser beam at intervals of predetermined time. At one time of irradiation, the laser beam has a waveform composed of a former portion and a latter portion. In the former portion, an increase rate of irradiation intensity per unit time is maximized on an outset of irradiation and is gradually reduced as the irradiation intensity approaches a maximum. In the latter portion, a reduction rate of irradiation intensity per unit time is maximized after the former portion and is gradually reduced as the irradiation intensity approaches a baseline current.

摘要: A light emitting device includes: a first white light source which includes N pieces of first white light emitting diodes and emits a first white light; and a second white light source which includes M pieces of second white light emitting diodes and a first resistance element electrically connected in series to the second white light emitting diodes and having a first resistance value, is electrically connected in parallel to the first white light source, and emits a second white light, the light emitting device emitting a mixed white light of the first white light and the second white light. The drive voltage of the first white light source is higher than a drive voltage of the second white light source, and a color temperature of the mixed white light is higher as a total luminous flux of the mixed white light is higher.

摘要: The present high-pressure discharge lamp is composed of an arc tube part having an internal space, a pair of tungsten electrodes disposed in opposition to each other within the internal space, and mercury and halogen encapsulated in the internal space. The halogen is excessively encapsulated into the internal space relatively to the capacity of the internal space so as to establish an appropriate halogen cycle when the mercury partially deposits without evaporating.

摘要: The light emitting device comprises: a bowl-shaped reflector; a point light source; and a combined lens provided on the light axis of the point light source. And the combined lens has: a convex lens part having a focal point coinciding with the point light source, refracting center light around the light axis into parallel light; and a concave lens part provided around the convex lens part, and refracting and diffusing light having an angle with the light axis larger than an angle between the center light and the light axis so as to increase the angle with the light axis. A virtual focal point of the light refracted and diffused with the concave lens part coincides with the focal point of the paraboloid of revolution.
