    摘要: A surge protection system includes a receptacle body, at least one power output jack, a power obtaining device, at least one surge protection module, a microcontroller unit, and a surge detection circuit. The at least one surge protection module includes a housing, a memory element, and a surge protection circuit that includes a surge absorption element and a thermal fuse connected in series and parallel. The surge absorption element absorbs a surge inputted from an external power supply, and the memory element records a number of surges carried by the surge absorption element. When the surge enters the surge protection system from the external power supply, the surge absorption element absorbs the surge, and the surge detection circuit outputs a signal to the microcontroller unit that writes the number of surges carried by the surge absorption element into the memory element.

    摘要: A varistor device includes a main body, a conductive area, a specific-melting-point metallic pin, and an elastic unit. The main body has a first surface, and the conductive area is located at the first surface. The specific-melting-point metallic pin has a first section and a second section. The first and the second sections are one-piece formed. The first section is fixedly disposed on the conductive area. The second section has a specific melting point such that the second section melts when a current flows between the first surface and the second section so as to expose the second section to a temperature greater than the specific melting point. The elastic unit has an end connected to the second section, and the elastic unit provides an elastic force to the second section to break the second section so as to cut off the current when the second section melts.

    摘要: A power strip includes a power plug, an outlet block electrically connected thereto, and a light control module disposed inside the outlet block. The outlet block has at least one electrical socket and a luminous warning field. The light control module is for emitting a light to the luminous warning field in accordance with an output current of the electrical socket. The light control module defines at least two current ranges according to a rated current, where one of the current ranges is a safety current range, the upper limit of which is greater than 50% of the rated current. The light control module alters the light emitted to the luminous warning field in accordance with the correspondence between the output current and each of the current ranges, so as to make the luminousness of the luminous warning field to change in accordance with the output current.

    摘要: A control system for automatically turning on/off device including at least an electronic device and a mobile communication device is disclosed. The mobile communication device includes a wireless communication unit and a control unit. The wireless communication unit is configured to be wirelessly connected with the electronic device and transmit the packet signals mutually between each other. The control unit determines whether a connection state between the electronic device and the mobile communication device is normal according to the packet signals. The electronic device is controlled to be turned on when the connection state is normal and turned off when the connection state is abnormal. The connection state may vary in accordance with the variation of the distance between the electronic device and the mobile communication device. Therefore the electronic device may be turned on/off conveniently and more electrical power may be saved.
