    摘要: A rolling apparatus has a frame and a first eccentric journal sleeve mounted on the frame, defining a first axis, and having axially inner and outer ends. A first shaft journaled in the sleeve has respective inner and outer ends at the first-sleeve inner and outer ends. The first-shaft outer end projects axially from the frame and carries a workpiece-deforming first roller. A rocker is displaceable transversely of the axis on the frame and carries a second eccentric journal sleeve defining a second axis generally parallel to the first axis and having axially inner and outer ends. A second shaft journaled in the second sleeve has respective inner and outer ends at the second-sleeve inner and outer ends. The second-shaft outer end also projects axially from the frame and carries a workpiece deforming second roller forming with the first roller a workpiece-receiving nip. Respective first and second drive gears engaging the respective first and second shafts between the respective ends rotate same about the respective axes. an actuator having a radially displaceable element urges the rocker radially toward the first axis and for holding the first and second axes at a predetermined spacing from each other at the outer ends.

    摘要: Wires are coiled by rotating about a main axis a curved laying tube having an upstream end opening generally at the axis and directed axially upstream and a downstream end opening radially offset from the axis and directed generally tangentially and feeding a leading end of the wire into the tube upstream end so that the wire issues from the downstream end of the tube in a curved condition and is laid in a succession of turns on a surface below the downstream end. Passage of a trailing end of the wire through the laying tube is detected and a drum having an inner surface directed toward and centered on the axis at the tube downstream end is closed around the downstream end of the tube to confine the wire inside the drum as passage of the trailing end through the laying tube is detected. The drum is opened from around the downstream end of the tube after passage of the trailing end through the tube and the drum is held open until detection of passage of another trailing end through the tube.

    摘要: A sensor head for a magnetic flux transmitter is disclosed which permits the manufacture, in series, and a simple mutual alignment, of a sleeve-shaped permanent magnet and, of a Hall generator which is disposed within the permanent magnet. An embodiment is disclosed which provides the disposition of the Hall generator at the end of a finger-shaped extension of a printed circuit board and to allocate a clamping piece, which is pressable into the permanent magnet, to the carrier. The permanent magnet is displaceable, relative to the Hall generator, for the adjustment of an optimum working point of the magnetic flux transmitter. The permanent magnet, however, has a sufficiently tight seating upon the carrier up to the final attachment of the components of the sensor head by means of an adhesive compound.

    摘要: A positioning actuator for use between a working-roll journal block and a roll-stand frame has a housing, a worm shaft rotatable in the housing about a main axis and formed with two axially offset worms, and respective worm wheels meshing with the worms and rotatable in the housing about respective parallel axes lying in a plane parallel to but offset from the main axis. The worm wheels are each formed internally centered on the respective axis with a screwthread. Respective pusher rods extending along the worm-wheel axes through the worm wheels are each formed with an external screwthread complementary to and meshing with the respective internal screwthread. The rods and housing are coupled together so as to inhibit rotation of the rods about the respective worm-wheel axes while permitting movement of the rods along the respective worm-wheel axes. The screwthreads are of such hand that rotation of the worm shaft in one direction about the main axis moves the rods along the respective worm-wheel axes in one direction while opposite worm-shaft rotation moves the pusher rods axially oppositely.
