摘要: A platform for design of a lighting installation generally includes an automated search engine for retrieving and storing a plurality of lighting objects in a lighting object library and a lighting design environment providing a visual representation of a lighting space containing lighting space objects and lighting objects. The visual representation is based on properties of the lighting space objects and lighting objects obtained from the lighting object library. A plurality of aesthetic filters is configured to permit a designer in a design environment to adjust parameters of the plurality of lighting objects handled in the design environment to provide a desired collective lighting effect using the plurality of lighting objects.

Also, a composition (or an aggregate) that comprises independent boron nitride nanotubes, in which a total mass percentage of independent hexagonal boron nitride and residual boron in the composition is not more than 35%. Also, a material comprising at least a first hexagonal boron nitride structure and at least a first boron nitride nanotube structure, wherein atoms in the first hexagonal boron nitride structure are epitaxially aligned with atoms in the first boron nitride nanotube structure that are closest to the first hexagonal boron nitride structure.

摘要: A pressure energised seal for a wellhead, in particular, provides a seal of an annulus between an inner wellhead casing member and an outer wellhead casing member. The wellhead incorporates a clamping arrangement whereby the outer member is arranged to be deflected radially inwardly in order to grip and secure the inner member within the bore of the outer member. Also, a seal for use in such a clamping arrangement. In particular, the seal includes a sealing lip which locates within a groove provided in the outer clamping surface of the inner member. A seal is activated and created as the outer member is clamped inwardly since this causes the outer member to compress the inner member and to reduce the diameter of the inner member. Also, a well and a method of sealing an annulus in a well.

The circumferential cutting edges continue via cutting edge corner regions in end cutting edges, which run essentially radially and which subsequently slope away from the milling cutter face towards the central axis from radially outer end cutting edge sections, in each case with a cutting edge section, which is formed by ground-in end pockets. The cutting edge section slopes continuously all the way to the central axis. In the region of the milling cutter core, it is formed by a point thinning, which is introduced into the end pocket and by means of which a center cutting edge is created. Also, a method for producing the milling tool.

摘要: A vacuum plate which may be used in a system in which sheet material articles are handled by a vacuum plate. The vacuum plate comprises a first wall, a plurality of bores in the first wall, and at least one air outlet for connection to a source of vacuum pressure for applying a vacuum pressure to the bores. The first wall provides, in use, a vacuum lifting surface for pulling and holding the sheet material article to the vacuum surface when vacuum pressure is applied to the bores. Each bore comprises a flared opening terminating at the vacuum surface for admitting air pulled through the bore by the applied vacuum pressure, and opposite this opening, an exit for the air pulled through the bore, this exit being surrounded by a rim that extends above a surrounding surface of the second side of the first wall.

摘要: An apparatus for measuring isometric muscle strength and dynamic strength when a limb is fixed, wherein the apparatus comprises: an attachment assembly for releasably attaching the apparatus to a support frame of an item of exercise equipment; a strain gauge configured to measure compressive or tensional forces; and a connection assembly for releasably connecting the strain gauge to a moveable component (e.g. barbell) of the exercise equipment wherein when connected makes the component immoveable such that forces exerted on the formerly moveable component require isometric muscle contraction or dynamic contraction while the limb is fixed that can be measured by the strain gauge.
