The method for braking a vehicle includes estimating a potential brake energy to be regenerated during a braking event, determining a threshold based on a regenerating capacity of a first axle drive unit, comparing the potential brake energy to be regenerated with the threshold, and switching a second axle drive unit to a regeneration mode for regenerating the brake energy in case the potential brake energy to be regenerated is higher than the threshold.

    摘要: A motor vehicle with a scalable frame that may be used with an internal combustion engine or with an electric drive. The vehicle has at least four wheels and a frame with a central support bounded by a front transverse section, a rear transverse section and two longitudinal side profiles. The front and rear transverse sections are formed of cast metal with mechanical connector parts attached respectively to a front frame structure and a rear frame structure. The front transverse section includes cooling duct connector parts adapted to be connected to cooling fluid ducts and electrical connector parts adapted to be connected to conductors of an electric motor, the rear transverse section including electrical connector parts adapted to be connected to an electrical connector, such as a charging terminal.

    摘要: A sprung frame assembly that can accommodate varying tolerance device heights while still exerting sufficient pressure/force required to a heatsink to contact and cool a bare die device, or other device of the like. Adapted for space constrained modules where placement of mounting holes is limited, and module density is high. Sprung frames are secured to mounting points at available locations on support structures as to eliminate any mounting holes in the PCB. The required force/pressure can be evenly achieved by methodically tightening a plurality of screws with springs at the corners of the sprung frames in sequence, pressure is applied evenly without damaging the device, while also taking up any tolerances in the device height.
