摘要： During operation, the system receives an optical input signal, and also receives a reference optical frequency comb (OFC) signal. Next, the system uses a gapless spectral demultiplexer to spectrally slice the optical input signal to produce a set of spectral slices. The system also uses a high-contrast demultiplexer to strongly isolate each combline of the reference OFC signal to produce a set of reference comblines. Next, in a parallel manner, the system demodulates each spectral slice in the set of spectral slices centered on a single reference combline in the set of reference comblines to produce a set of baseband I/Q signals, wherein each spectral slice is demodulated based on a known code sequence. The system then digitizes the set of baseband I/Q signals to produce a set of digitized signals. Finally, the system processes the set of digitized signals to directly reconstruct a waveform for the optical input signal.

In an illustrative client/server computing environment, a first set of client conditions of a first split trigger is evaluated at a client device, using parameters observable at the client without interaction with a server. When the first of client conditions is satisfied, the client transmits a signal to a server that then evaluates a first set of server conditions of the first split trigger. If the first sets of client conditions and server conditions are satisfied, the computer operation(s) associated with the split trigger are executed.

摘要： One aspect of the instant application provides a system and method for generating internal traffic for a switch. During operation, the system configures a replication list comprising a plurality of replication entries, with a respective replication entry corresponding to a destination port on the switch. The system generates a seed packet to be replicated for each replication entry in the replication list, with a destination address of a respective replicated packet corresponding to a replication entry. All replicated packets are associated with a virtual local-area network (VLAN) reserved for the internal traffic. The system then forwards the replicated packets along with external packets received by the switch to corresponding destination ports on the switch.

摘要： A Cockcroft-Walton (CW) switching voltage converter is disclosed. This CW switching converter includes a set of capacitors; an inductor coupled between an input voltage source and the set of capacitors; a set of switches; and an N-phase control module coupled to the set of switches. In some embodiments, each switch is controlled by the N-phase control module which is configured to sequentially and periodically effectuate a set of N voltage-conversion phases in a sequence of switching cycles. Note that each switching cycle effectuates a voltage conversion through the set of N voltage-conversion phases, wherein N is the conversion ratio of the CW switching voltage converter. Moreover, the N-phase control module is configured to effectuate a phase transition from a current phase to a subsequent phase when a zero-current switching (ZCS) condition on a given switch is met.
