摘要: A fenceless system and method for automatically moving one or more items between a structure at a source location and a destination using a robot is provided. The system comprises a robot having an end effector to selectively grasp an item. A trajectory planning controller directs the robot to move the item between a source location and a destination. A touch sensor detects a contact between an external object and a surface of the robot or a surface surrounding the end effector; and a proximity sensor detects a person in proximity to the robot. A vision sensor detects a location and orientation of items to be moved. The robot moves in proximity to a person without a safety fence preventing the person from contacting the robot. The system adjusts a speed of the robot in response to detecting a person in one of a plurality of zones around the robot.

摘要: A system and method for automatically moving one or more items between a structure at a source location and a destination using a robot is provided. The system includes first and second vision systems to identify an item and to determine the precise location and orientation of the item at the source location and the precise location and orientation of the destination, which may or may not be in a fixed location. A controller plans the best path for the robot to follow in moving the item between the source location and the destination. An end effector on the robot picks the item from the source location, holds it as the robot moves, and places the item at the destination. The system may also check the item for quality by one or both of the vision systems. An example of loading and unloading baskets from a machine is provided.

摘要: A system and method for laser cutting a plurality of parts, for example metal chassis components, using a plurality of laser cutting apparatuses is provided. The system includes a plurality of the laser cutting apparatuses disposed in a single enclosed cell for simultaneously trimming multiple parts. The system also includes at least one inner chamber and at least one set of double doors for transferring the parts in and out of the enclosed cell without any light escaping the cell. The parts are conveyed through the first door to the inner chamber while the second door is closed, and through the second door to the enclosed cell while the first door is closed. The system also includes robots continuously preloading and unloading the parts to maximize the laser trimming time.

摘要: The invention is intended to improve a method for explosive forming of a workpiece by means of gas explosion, in which the workpiece is arranged in a intake area of a moulding tool, wherein the intake area is at least partially filled with liquid and the explosion is triggered by ignition of an explosive gas mixture, to the effect that the method is suitable and simplified for mass production. This object is solved by a method for explosive forming of a workpiece by means of gas explosion, in which the workpiece is arranged in a intake area of a moulding tool, wherein the intake area is at least partially filled with liquid and the explosion is triggered by means of ignition of an explosive gas mixture, in which the explosive gas mixture is provided at least partially above the surface of the liquid before the ignition.

摘要: With the invention, a method and device for explosive forming of work pieces, in which at least one work piece is arranged in at least one die and deformed by means of an explosive to be ignited, is to be improved, in that an ignition mechanism that is technically simple to handle, is produced with the shortest possible setup time, which permits the most precise possible ignition of the explosive with time-repeatable accuracy. This task is solved by a method and device, in which at least one work piece is arranged in at least one die and deformed by means of an explosive to be ignited, in which the explosive is ignited by means of induction.

摘要: In one aspect, the invention is directed to a twist beam axle for a vehicle. The twist beam axle includes a twist beam and a reinforcement member. The twist beam has a longitudinal axis and has a generally concave cross-sectional shape. The reinforcement member extends longitudinally and is connected to the twist beam to form a longitudinally extending tubular form therewith. The twist beam has first and second side walls. At least one of the side walls extends outside of the tubular form. The tubular form has cross-sectional dimensions that are selected based on the vehicle on which the twist beam axle is to be used.

摘要: A device for explosive forming of a tubular work piece includes a multipart explosive forming die, which defines a forming area having an inner surface corresponding to a final shape of the tubular work piece and a nozzle arrangement disposed adjacent to the forming area. The device also includes a plug for forming a seal by simultaneously deforming an end of the work piece and clamping the deformed end between the plug and a facing surface of the nozzle arrangement. In this way, the work piece itself contributes to the sealing of an internal explosion space. With insertion of new work piece blanks, and introduction of the plug during each individual forming process, new seals are produced in a convenient manner during subsequent forming processes. The device supports a simplified handling approach and integrates several functions into one working step, resulting in a shorter cycle times and cost-effective industrial production.

摘要: Constant current power supply arrangements can charge a capacitor with a constant current and are suitable as power supplies for laser diodes. A power supply for a laser diode comprises: a variable voltage power supply, a load path for carrying a laser diode, a shunt path connected in parallel with the load path, a current draining element for switching the shunt path, the current draining element being associated via a first feedback element with the variable voltage power supply such that current drained by the current draining element provides first feedback control of a voltage level of the variable voltage power supply, and a voltage operated second feedback element associated with both the load path and the shunt path to provide second feedback control of the current draining element to drain current via the current draining element in response to current changes at the load. A circuit arrangement for charging a capacitance comprises a load capacitance to be charged, a serially connected inductive component contributing to a serial frequency dependent impedance, and a variable frequency source for supplying charging current at a variable frequency, the variable frequency source being controllable to reduce frequency during charging of the capacitor, thereby to reduce the frequency dependent impedance and maintain a constant level of charging current to the load capacitance.
