    摘要： Methods and devices provide for blind withdrawal of currency for transportation. A cash handling device may allow a selection for transport withdrawal. The user need not know the amount to be requested for dispensation. At least a portion of the currency in the cashing handling device may be stored in the container. The container may have an identifier (e.g., a barcode, an RFID tag, and the like) on it. The identifier may be stored in a database along with the amount of currency in the container. The database may be stored locally in the cashing handling device or in remote location. At a location to which the container is being delivered, the identifier may be read and used to lookup in the database the amount of currency in the container. The currency in the container may be counted and compared to the amount stored in the database for the identifier.

    摘要： A method for applying a fixed image onto at least one surface of a component in an electrochemical device is described. The component is usually formed of an alumina material. An image-forming material is first applied onto the component surface in its green state. The mark or image is applied in a desired pattern by an additive process, such as direct-write or screen-printing. The component is then heated at a sintering temperature sufficient to ensure conversion from the green state into a fired ceramic state. The sintering temperatures are also sufficient to fix the image upon the surface of the component. The image can be read by the human eye, or by various machine-readable techniques. Related methods for monitoring the location and status of a ceramic electrochemical cell component during its manufacture and during other processing steps are also described.

    摘要： A radio frequency sclerotherapy system includes a needle assembly with a thin (26 to 32 gauge) solid conductive needle, about 1.25 inches long. A multilayer coating is applied over a proximal portion of the needle leaving an uncoated distal tip, about 0.10 inches long, exposed. The multilayer coating is an electric and thermal insulator. An electrical plug electrically coupled to the proximal end of the wire. The multilayer coating provides a palpable transition. A generator supplies voltages in the range of 300V to −100V, at frequencies of 1 MHz to 50 MHz, with voltage spikes having a time from rise to fall of up to 100 nS and a low voltage between voltage spikes for about twice the duration of the time from rise to fall of the voltage spikes.

Instead, a retail store or other organization may electronically transmit information regarding the non-currency item to the sponsor for confirmation of payment and to the financial institution for recognition. In some configurations, the financial institution may be configured to request confirmation of payment from the sponsor (i.e., instead of the retail store). Reconciliation of a cash handling device or a portion thereof (e.g., a cash register drawer) my take into account both non-currency items and currency items so that non-currency items do not have to be separately and/or manually reconciled.

    摘要： Methods and devices provide robbery functionality in a cash handling device. A user attempting to withdraw money from a recycler may be identified. The user may indicate a problem, such as a robbery attempt. An alarm code may be sent from the recycler and may provide notification of the robbery attempt. A normal welcome screen may be displayed to the user so that the robber is not alerted of the robbery notification. The user may request a withdrawal of money and may identify a quantity of money to be withdrawn. Money may be dispensed if the withdrawal request is less than a robbery limit. If the request exceeds the limit, options may include: notice that a limit has been exceeded or that the requested funds are unavailable, dispensing amount(s) up to the robbery limit, and/or displaying error message(s). The machine may be precluded from use until the out of service condition is reset.
